Its most unfortunate that a previously trusted website like Flipkart.com is now selling used, scratched Bluray discs on their website. I have been buying online from Flipkart since last 2 years, and have also bought quite a number of Bluray discs earlier. This has never happened before. But times are changing these days, I guess and to keep profit margins high, in this competitive world, I think they are now resorting to such unscrupulous trade practices. I had booked a Bluray disc on Flipkart recently and it was a Cash on Delivery deal like I have always done as before. This time after paying Rs 1299 /- to the delivery guy, when I open the pack, I was shocked to find the disc having innumerable scratches like an used disc, on its playing side. I promptly brought it to the notice of Flipkarts customer service, who have promised me a refund, surprisingly, ONLY AND ONLY after I return them the damaged disc.
They are so prompt, in their service, that even without informing me or even asking me, they had sent a man to my residence, to get the damaged disc back before they give me a refund. Honestly, whats the world coming to these days?! I mean its quite unbelievable to me and shocking too that a previously trusted brand like Flipkart is doing such a shady business these days.
Just imagine how all of you would feel like, if you pay money for a used product. I have all the emails sent by me to Flipkart and their replies from their so-called Customer Support, if anybody wants to have a look for veracity.
