I have some advices to get you started on learning Carnatic music.I have been learning Carnatic Music for so many years, starting from the age of 5.Carnatic Music is like a vast sea.As you cannot count the waves, you cannot complete learning the whole Carnatic Music.

AS you cannot measure the depth of  seas, you it is very difficult to learn it in depth.It is so enchanting.Classical music has two styles, Carnatic and Hindustani.I have learnt Carnatic Music.Hindustani is very popular in North India, where Carnatic is popular in South India.There are many great singers in Carnatic Music.You can listen to them and improve.First you needs a Guru(teacher). Nowadays online learning is more popular.But I believe in learning from a Guru(teacher).

You need a lot of practice for voice control.Hardworking and patience is necessary.Daily one should practice for atleast 1 hour.But music is said to do so many magics. It will give happiness to mind, cure diseases.Like the great Musician Mia Tansen who used to create wonders with music. Now a day kids just start learning music, but are not interested in pursuing it.They do it just for time pass. They should take learning really serious.
