I ordered a large quantity of costume jewelry from Naaptol. When it arrived, the return address on the airbill and company card that was included in the packaging lists the following company information- note there's two different names and addresses!
On the airbill:
VARIATION DESIGN
101 Vastu Apartment, Near Barkha Hotel
Shanti Park, Mira Road(E) Thane
On the card:
VARIATION FASHION ACCESSORIES
Shop # C-03, Shiv Shakti Complex, Near Manav Kalyan Kendra
SV Road, Dahisar East, Mumbai 400068
The company also sells products directly from their own website: http://www.variations.in
Avoid doing business with them, because the crap they're selling via Naaptol is just that- CRAP.
The products I bought, which included 12 necklace/earring sets and 2 bangles, are defective except for 1 bangle(which is very bad quality).
Here is a list of defects:
*Missing stones
Very cheap, plastic/poor quality enamel and beads
Scratches, rough spots on beads
Crooked, haphazard settings
Broken, damaged and badly constructed chains
Discoloured metal(black and grey spots on the plating)
Uneven goldtone(one chain has 2 different hues of gold)
Peeling pearls(Cheap pearlescent paint on white plastic beads is coming off)*
Everything has a cheap, plastic feel to it, like toy jewelry.
Evidently the bright minds at Variation Design/Fashion Accessories think "costume jewelry" is something to be worn with Halloween costumes. But this junk is only useful to a Halloween enthusiast if she plans to dress up like a half eaten zombie princess.
