Computer games are growing in popularity among computer professionals from development point of view since it needs a thorough programming knowledge. However, from application point of view, mostly the young people are attracted towards it the most. To my view, application of a computer game is of less productivity and more of a wastage of time under any circumstances. Here are the reasons why I say so.
1) First of all, young people get addicted to playing computer games which is not only a wastage of time, but at the same time it gets them to get away with their study to a larger extent.
2) From technical point of view, computer games occupy a huge space in the computer's memory which could be used for a productive job.
3) Computer games often are prone to errors which at times may lead to malfunctioning of the computer itself.
4) Computer games frequently need input and output operations which also may harm to the basic input and output system of the computer.
5) If a computer game stops working, it is very difficult for it to revive since it needs rectification at the code level which a user is incapable of most of the time.
6) Most importantly, computer games must be stored onto an external disk and loaded whenever desired so that it will have least effect on the hardware and software of the computer.
Finally, to my view, computer game can be used by adult professionals as a temporary time pass, but not as a regular practice.
