Mum : did u have u r tiffin
Rahul : yes mum I did now I am gonna go wash
Mum : okey honey….
Well surprised well I am not this is a conversation between my aunt and her son who is in 6 th standard on a cell phone.
My nephew who is barely 12 yrs old is carrying a cell phone to school
Well where is this world going to
I mean the worlds shrinking with technology but this is stupid
Lets look at it this way cell: : phones fastest way of communication and : : so keeps in touch
But look whats happening, there are kids who are around 10 to 12 yrs old carrying a cell phone, its not that they are carrying the cellphone which hurts it’s the age
It’s the age where the kids should be free of any worries like “oh its my cell ,it s my mums call ,its my dads call “ when they are playing in that break ,when they are having their tiffin, when they are talking something new they have learnt from their friends which is not officially taught in school…
But its nagging for the kid , that I have to call mom ,dads gonna call
Is in t he more burdened then he already is by the studies and the homework
I mean its like an advantage having that cell where u can find out what u r kid is doing or he is fine or everythings right
But just for this advantage we are missing those great moments like say
A moms worry when the childs late ,those phone calls to dads office that the kids late, and that moment the bell rings and the kids there and what follows are those moments which bring happiness
Those moments when the kid dosent tell u where he is and pops up home when he is late and the firing of the daddy and mommy and the telling of lies and then the truth and then the grounding and then the learning process of reality
Those moments when we sit and ask whats happened in school those little kiddie fights teachers punishments
I mean can we substitute this parent to child talk over any cell phone just for a few minutes ?
Thinking about it
Aren’t we making them more dependent then more independent
I am just worried what will happen when I have kids.
