Climate change is really becoming a personal issue. The natural calamity those are rare and unseen are becoming regular events nowadays. Lack of government regulations is a key factor in it. Still now coal power plants are the major supplier of our elecricity requirements and they have poor emitiion standards. Residence around 10 km radius around the plant are highly susceptible to different disease because of the dusty air that comes out from the plant. I used to live near a thermal power plant and every morning I wake up I can see a thick powder coating in my floor . My home becomes dusty in small intervals. That was one of the causes I shifted my home from there. Even the production factories are openly disposing hazardous chemicals to drinking reservoirs without proper treatment. Big rivers in china like yangtzi and yellow river are biggest example that industry with less regulation can exploit nature and Pollut it. The river near my old house which was conect to a soap factory was converted to a bubble river. That river became a drain of thick chemical bubble now. Using single use plastic is also creating same kind of problem. In some degree we are also responsible for this. Our greed for non disposable products and poor recycling practice littering our environment. Because of our greed for non disposable products most of our garbage goes to landfill which stays in environment and damages the soil. There is so little have done in the recycling industry that we can't recycle every thing which can be recyclable. We need more reforms in our recycling and raw material regulations.
