Hi all, iam here to share my review on the internet service providers along with my experince.
GCN broadband service provider is only broadband service provider who stay near my residence, bangalore.
since only broadband internet service provider i have no choice to go with the GCN, but very poor service from the GCN, first when i called they advised me to meet them in the office i thought its to discuss plan, but later i understood they called to collect advance amount. As they took for registration 2000rs includes connection and fitting charges also wifi router 1500rs as they charged me seperately. Plus the unlimited plan 1200rs for 50mbps speed for 50gb for 28days also stated after 50gb you will be reduced to 128kpbs speed so guys this is called for GCN broadband as unlimited plan.
So i had no option since i need internet to my work everyday so i just paid, from then started they said evening they will send to have connection fixed no guy has come nor the call. Then very next day visited GCN broadband office bangalore and they advised sorry we forgot, yes thay said same thing sorry they forgot. Such a irresponsible response from the guy anand who work there. Finally after 2days they able to send connection from some mechanic has come but it took 7days to get me wifi router after 10-15 times followups and many calls.
Also would like to specify internet connection was very poor, when day timings we not even able to get speed of 2mbbs due to multiple users along with less powerful modems have installed by GCN broadband providers. Everytime i call them thay advise me restart the wifi router, else wait for 5minuts. I clearly know its just they want to give reasons.
On last month when i was using it was totally off due to modem issues, and the mobile number also switched of since they took 4 complete day to fix a issue on the modems. And they take no responsiblity to the customer or the importance of their work.
Also they dont have good customer support team to assist on query, sometimes they take calls some times even after multiple ring they refuse to take calls but yes, every end of the month bill collection is superfast.
Would like to mention on the game GCN broadband is that, at the fisrt week of the month will be good in speed due we pay the month start and also last week of the month the speed of the internet will be good due again they collect the payment. But in between 2weeks of the month i need to forget the internet which is like no internet atall.
Even after so many calls, so many followup still continues so finally decided to discontinue without option which is really poor service from the GCN broadband (bangalore).
