The biggest mistake of my life was to choose GATI PACKERS AND MOVERS to transport from Bangalore to Kolkata. I cross verified with GATI KWE they told they are their recognised franchise, so I trusted these people. They promised they will give me the tracking number of GATI KWE, they promised they will provide Insurance copies of my Goods and Four Wheeler, they promised professional people will come for packing.
The Reality:
1.They sent untrained novices to pack and they were packing at jet speed, without covering glass bottles, cups in a proper wrapping manner, it seemed they don't care, so we literally had to force them to use bubble wraps.
2.They did not transport the good for one full week then told us too much of material so they will have to send in a vehicle without TRACKING NUMBER. Else we have to wait for eternity and our goods are lying in the warehouse in Neelmangala.
3.When goods came, literally we cried at the condition it has come, Dinning table deliberately broken in pieces to make space, SOFA all legs were broken, shoe cabinet fully damaged, TV cabinet fully damaged. this came after 14 days, the people who were sent for unpacking were not at all from GATI they were local daily wagers, they broke the dining table glass while unpacking, so I lost around 60, 000 worth of goods already.
4.Insurance was not created by GATI so they told they will give 1500 for repairs, but that too was never sent.
5.The last part, we agreed 50% after the loading of goods which we paid already and 50% after receiving all goods. After they have sent the broken item and we demanded repair charges, they started to blackmail us with the car, which they were yet to deliver, for the last 20 days period they never sent any photo or video of the car, they sent a video yesterday, the car is lying in some field and asked me to pay 10000 and rest after getting a car, I have deducted insurance charges of 2250 since they did not provide the insurance documents and 6000 we settled for repairs. Now they have called me and told pay the full 50% amount or they will not deliver the car, initially, they told they have an office in Kolkata, so I asked the address so that I can go and speak, this person Rajesh is telling no office, pay and talk. AZAD, ANIL, RAJESH, these are all the scamsters you will come across, AZAD came to our home driving in a CRETA, might be some customers vehicle they have not delivered.
