Gati a group of liars and fraudulent company.

Don’t even think of going with this company, all are fraud and just want to earn commission that's it. No customer support or goods tracking as mentioned in the website.

This is how it all started, I got a call from Gati Packers and Movers (Phone number +91-960687xxxx) (Website- https://gatipackersandmovers.in)

I had to move my car from Bangalore to Asansol and a few household items. They gave me an estimate of 22, 000 for transporting my car from Bangalore to Asansol.

They came to my place picked up my car and household items (2 Plastic Chairs, 1 trolley bag, Metal Clothes Stand, 1 blanket) and shared a PDF document on WhatsApp of the items to be relocated on 22nd November 2023. No hard copy or final amount shared. They will firstly share an amount which is not transparent (hidden charges such as Docket charges, ODA location charges, Border charges) will be shared after the stuffs are picked up.

Next day I was shocked to hear that the stuff + car transportation will cost me INR 43, 244. I requested for discount and they offered me 1, 519 discount and the new final amount INR 41, 725. (Sad part I can't ask them to give back my items as transportation charges are too costly for me)

2) Petrol charges INR 1, 000

3) ODA location charges INR 5, 310 (something new charged, not shared earlier)

4) Docket charges 2, 950 (something new charged, not shared earlier)

5) Border charges INR 3, 600 (something new charged, not shared earlier)

6) Household goods relocation charge INR 4, 203 (if I knew this earlier I would have sold it here)

Gati Packers and Movers and Sandeep Jangra the main POC (where I made the payment) promised me 10 days delivery. So I followed with them after 10 days on 4th December (Monday). Sandeep ji conveyed that the carrier is about to reach Dankuni (West Bengal) in a day.

Next day I followed up again with Gati customer care and Sandeep ji. I was again informed that the carrier is about to reach Dankuni. Few days later Sandeep ji gave me Rajesh ji phone number (Bangalore car transporter). Rajesh ji as well lied for a day or 2. Then Rajesh ji informed me that the carrier is stuck at Vizag due to heavy rain (another lie). Few days went through, I kept on following with Sandeep ji (customer care 960687xxxx now not picking my call anymore).

Sandeep ji after a few days gave me another number Sonu ji (career main POC). On following up with Sonu ji I came to know that the carrier is stuck at Bhubaneswar Police Chauki due to hit and run case (didn't reach Dankuni as informed earlier). It will take another few days to reach Dankuni. After it reaches Dankuni it will take another day to deliver the car at Asansol. On 18th December the carrier reached Dankuni. After reaching Dankuni they started playing again (now the car is not in good condition, no driver, I need to pay INR 4, 000 for driver and Petrol and so on).

I already paid petrol charges and I have opted for home pickup and drop. Why will I go to Dankuni to pickup my car, pay petrol charges?

Their behaviour is also not good. After a few follow-ups and conveying them that I will now take steps as it's almost a month now, my car got delivered by a driver on 20th December. I had to pay INR 2, 300 petrol price, Toll from Dankuni to Asansol and 500 rupees police fine for carring luggage in car (as Gati Packers and Movers didn't provide a separate carrier to carry household items) to the driver.

Not recommended. Avoid all Gati Packers and Movers. Too much headache. Bad service.
