People generally colour their hair to hide shades of grey or to have funky n fashionable hair. general tendency is to go for a hair colour brand which is well known in the market as you tend to'trust' such a'brand'.
Trust factor becomes important in making such a buying decision as most people will not agree to take a risk as far as their looks are concerned.
Hair colours are chemicals. Chemicals damage your hair. extent and severity of damage may differ from person to person and may also depend upon the period of usage.
though garnier is a big MNC brand, chemicals used in its hair colour has reportedly caused side effects like hair fall and premature greying of hair in indian population.
company also realises that a huge majority of people look for safer and natural alternatives like Henna( mehandi) which actually nourishes the hair. hence the company rebranded its offering and now calls it as garnier colour'naturals' expecting people to mistake it as a safe natural colouring agent. they can legally get away with this as they claim to have added natural olive oil to the chemical and hence are entittled to brand their chemical as'natural'
fact remains that the harsh chemical used in garnier causes undesirable and irreversble side effects.
if u have tried this product and are experiencing hair fall or premature greying, stop using this product immediately.
if natural henna is not your preference then you may try a slightly expensive but lighter chemical hair colour from loreal.
