Is it gangubai or hardworking actor?. Review on Gangubai Kathiawadi

From someone's childhood, if someone heard the bad things about someone, not bad but horrified blood shaded stories and if you things they will forget about that after watching two hours movies? no. not at all, but they well-tried

gangubai kathiawadi is famous as a mumbai's mafia queen, a business people sell their ideas but she bet on her own body and slowly owns Mumbai. on this, director cum magician sanjay leela basali produced a movie. you know that sanjay sir movies are like once-in-a-lifetime experiences. but a real-life villain portrayed as a hero, is it acceptable, is it a profit-making movie or total loss?

tension not, let me explain for you guys, so gangubai office placed at the unfamous area's one room, where sleep for one night and you will get the money to live life, in this business entered the crime with crime king who helps her. so business then crime and next stage will be?, you are right about the politics from which gets her other identity. at this stage, she becomes a social worker from a sex worker. and in villains heart fill with the hero kind of character which earned the lots of audience heart in theater and here end the movie, short and simple. no twist, no action, no surprises, only drama.

a lot of melodrama with more emotions and dances, this is a one-liner review. now the question is, should we watch this movie in the theater or should we wait for the ott platform to be released on tv? so my answer is yes and no also.

don't worry guys, I will not give a diplomatic answer. if you are a fan of sanjay leela bhansali then na. no. never. ott platform is best because it is not the best film of him. but if alia bhatt is the heartbeat of your heart then sure you can go and watch this movie in the theater. this is one of the best performance she gave so far.

the best thing about this movie is from wherever you watching the movie but for two and half hours you will stay in the kamathipura. the colorful sats on which the best cinematography will give you awesome experience with the retro theme which is the face of classic bollywood will refresh your mind for sure. movies music is average, not the special type which sees in the early era movies

dialogues are awesome, you will start clapping for the writers too for sure, lets talk about the best part of this movie, the small cameos of the actors make the movie more interesting and strong.

ajay devgon is played a great role and I excite the audience whenever he appeared, this movie fully based on the alia bhat the second one is most loved is ajay devgon. he shows the role doesn't matter less or more it should be big and strong. seocnd one is vijay raj hands-off to this guy, the way he justified his role is commendable and from other supportive actors seema ma'ma did great too.

but what is more disappointing to me is movies topis is we know little bit controversial and the way they delivered the message is not convincing, the climax should be like which show what true gangubai was. but in the climax, they literally try to justify the prostitution work with the useless example like' if there is no sex worker, men will be rape every single girl from the road'. I mean what kind of point is that, no logic at all. they portrayed gangubai is the image with the cleaned spec. she called mafia queen in real-life and they have not shown any single glance of it.

let me tell you once again alia is the backbone of this movie, this role is the best role she ever performed so far. and you can see her hard work too. but we didn't see the gangubai khatiawadi, the all we can see hard-working actor. we cant question on her acting skill to be honest but more look like doll whom make up and showed there. if you see the movie the background actors are look like kamathipura people except alia
