My views on Movies(In general)
===================================================================
Okay I am not a very good movie-reviewer nor do I have a very good sense of movies. However what I do have is the power to express my opinion on the movie. So I hope any mistakes regarding the technical aspects of the movie will be forgiven.
After a really hard day (studies and exams) I watched this movie thinking that I might just de-stress myself (I had actually wanted to watch Ice Age-2 but since all my friends had already watched that movie I had to agree upon watching this one)..
In my opinion a movie should be something, watching which you should either think or retrospect about what happened in the film and reflect that into your life or you should be enjoy the movie as it comes, said in a crude language the movie should be a paisa vasool or it should be a means to de-stress yourself. However after watching this particular movie I realized that none of the above mentioned aspects were present. Probably it was due to the high expectations that I had from the movie (especially after the reviews that poured in MS) that the above aspects weren't so clearly visible to me..
This movie is only of 2 1/2 hrs. but it felt that I watching the same movie for 2 1/2 days

Personnel
===================================================================
We do not have a very heavy star-cast available in the movie..
However:
Simran played by Kangna : Her acting was quiet laudable however she has some problem with the dialogue delivery.. Maybe its her voice or the lack of expression and dialogue synchrony I don't know what it is. At some part of the movie you think that all she is doing is screeching at the top of her voice, which is pictured as a cry for help. Be prepared to see and hear too much of her. At the end of the movie one gets quiet tired of her personality.
Akash played by Emran Hashmi : His eyes are generally more expressive.. But in this movie he has been made to wear glasses which negates the expressive-eyes factor (I don't know why).. His dialogues are pretty lame add that to some totally emotional typical filmy stuff and you get some time and reason to visit the loo..
Daya(The gangster) played by ’Shiny’ : Overacting in most of the scenes especially the emotional ones.. I remember watching this particular scene where he says to Simran ''Tumare bina main mar jaoonga'', is a hamming personified. Plus he has got a background rap music, which makes it all the more worse.
The gang leader played by Gulshan Grover : could be the only thing that you can look forward to, that is if you are going to watch the movie. This man, Grover, makes any movie worth watching. Unfortunately his role is of only 5 minutes or probably lesser.. But in those five minutes he shows us why he is considered as one of the best actors available to perform negative roles. The Bad Man brings out his charisma once again. His dialogue delivery is awesome. I wish that he could have had a larger role to play in the movie.

The Plot
===================================================================
The plot, you might have guessed or have known by now, is about a gangster(Daya). He falls in love for a girl named Simran, a Dance bar girl.Yawn As he is a gangster he is always on the run (Sometimes even to different nations) and this somewhat spoils the relationship. Plus the police is also behind him so he leaves her somewhere else in a safe place in seol and goes about doing his job.
The girl however is unhappy with the situation and she wants to meet him but he keeps saying that ''yeh kaam nipta ke aajatha hoon''. In the meantime she falls in love with Akash. The movie is about how Simran manages both her love-lives Bigger Yawn. Yes thats it. Thats the story for you. It is not something you might call as ground breaking and stuff like that. So you needn't actually watch this movie. You could instead watch some other old movie with the same story.
I had almost slept during the movie.. That was because the movie was very booorrringg. I need to say this once more the Movie was Booorring
===================================================================
The Music
===================================================================
The music is something you need to listen except for one love-song all the other songs are pretty good. The song Ya Ali is pretty good but the video is quiet dull with the old formula of song with no relevance or link to the movie.
===================================================================
Camerawork
===================================================================
Now this has to be lauded clapped at. Brilliant camerawork. The camerawork makes the movie look good.
===================================================================
And Finally Direction
===================================================================
Anurag Basu, the director and the person surrounded with controversies, has done nothing good to improve the movie. A pretty lame job of direction. There are some sequences in the movie which I am unable to comprehend.
===================================================================
Final words
===================================================================
Lacklustre effort by the director coupled by a poor acting by the heroes and the poor dialogue delivery of the heroine gives you a totally boring and a flop movie.
Okay I am done with the review. I hope that you are convinced that the movie is not worth watching. Any comments or any personal experience about the movie can be shared in the comments column...
Regards, Shiva.
