This is one of the best series I've seen so far. The characters are strong, the plot is gripping and the direction is amazing. Some of my favorite characters got killed(I miss Ned Stark and Rob Stark), I felt like giving up the show but I couldn't.
And then other characters which were on the sidelines evolved in a beautiful manner(esp Arya Stark) that struck a chord with me. Although I haven't read the book, I really enjoy this series. The sad part is they come out with 10 to 12 episodes per season. A season ends in three months and then again there is a long wait of 9 months. I wish this was like one of the Indian series that aired everyday. Boy! I would never get bored.
Tyrion Lannister is defiinitely the best character on the show. You may hate him in the start but as they delve deeper, you develop a liking for him. I hated Joffrey Baratheon and was relieved when the character was killed, definitely one of the best episodes. Another episode to watch out for is Tyrion's court conviction.
Daenarys Targaryen is a beautiful character. Wonderfully pulled off by Emilia Clarke. I like her story and how strong she is. A born leader. Also, a favorite.
