Fulham Football Club, after Arsenal and along with (the now relegated) West Ham United and Middlesboro are 4 of my favourite English football clubs.
Fulham are based at Loftus Road(in London), although their actual ground is the Craven Cottage which is right beside the Thames river.
Fulham are not the biggest of clubs but are one of the most resiliet and inventive clubs in the premiership. They are owned by Mohammad Al Fayed(father of Princess Di's boyfriend, Dodi Al Fayed and owner of the famous London store, Harrods).
Fulham have intheir ranks, young players like the very impressive Sean Davis and Zatiyah Knight in defence.
They also have the experience of Alain Goma in defence and Bommisell has proved to be a good enough full back.
Covering the defence is ther instrumenta Sylvain Legwinski, who does the job that Vieira and Keane do for Arsenal and ManU. To the right of midfield they have the very impressive Steed Malbraque. Malbranque is a very craft right midfielder whose intelligent runs always leave defences bumbling.
In midfield thay also hav the Asian connection, Arsenal discard Junichi Inamoto, who for an Asian player is very very fit and has a good work rate.
To the left of midfield thay have Luis Boa Morte(Another ex Arsenal man :-) ). Boa Morte, when on form is very quick and more often than not moves into the middle.
they also use Moritz Volz on the right wingback positon.
Up front, they have the frisky Louis Saha who always hasd an eye for goal, and is manufactures shots, as Fulham often leave him alone upfield in away games.
In goal they have Dutch international Edwin Van Der Saar who is an excellent shot stopper, and commands his defence.
They are managed by the young Chris Coleman, who took over at the end of last season and has impressed all with his acumen and faith that he shown in his players. He is the youngest manager in the league.
Fulham along with Arsenal, Spurs and Charlton make up the London brigade in the FA Premier league.
