F.R.I.E.N.D.S is a masterpiece because of the fact that everyone of us can relate to the people and the incidents on the screen. They are careless, casual, nonchalant and funny.
This series makes complete justice to the words "The best comedy arises from the deepest sorrows".
I love how it is all just based on the great characters and the writing. It almost doesn't matter that the basic idea of the show is not the most original or inspiring, it is merely a sitcom about a group of friends.
Joeys the dumb Italian actor,
Chandler the sarcastic forgotten loser,
Ross is the geeky paleontologist whos divorced three times,
Monica's the clean, neat freak chef,
Phobe's the quirky hippie masseuse(she has the best lines)
and Rachels the spoilt sweet designer, probably the most normal out of all of them.
No convoluted story, No twist, No nonsense. F.R.I.E.N.D.S is a celebration of life, the exuberance of youth and the glory of friendship. Personally, F.R.I.E.N.D.S is the goto series when I am feeling happy or sad, ecstatic or hurt, betrayed or depressed, together with friends or alone.
Love the characters, can't pick a favorite over other. The writers worked really hard & their work shows. This will be an evergreen sitcom, technology may change, ways may change but this show will be there forever
