I first started drinking Folgers in the early 1970's after visiting a friend. Her coffee was always so fresh and flavorful and I wanted to know what kind she was using and she told me Folgers. I knew I had to run to the store and purchase some for my very own.
To me Folgers is a rich very flavorful coffee that is always consistant. Each time you open a can or bad it is always the same, no surprises.
Folgers comes in a variety of flavors for those that like to experiment with different types of coffees.
Classic. Made with mountain grown beans. My personal favorite.
Gourmet Supreme. A full bodied coffee made from 100% arabaca beans.
100% Columbian. Made from columbian beans for a richer brew.
French Roast. A darker roast that is much stronger tasting.
Breakfast Blend. A medium roast coffee. A real eye opener.
Lite Classic Roast. Less caffeine than the regular coffee.
All of the coffees come in decafeinated for those that can't tolerate caffeine or just don't want it in their diet.
Folgers is now offering a variety of flavored coffees in the whole bean so you can grind these wonderful coffees at home and enjoy the freshly ground flavor right away.
My personal favorite is the Hazelnut. The smell of this delicious nutty flavored coffee is unbeatable. You can follow the aroma all over the house. It's like having a gourmet coffee without the gourmet price.
Folgers also has French Vanilla, Classic Supreme, Classic Supreme Decaf, 100% Columbian, and French Roast for those that prefer to grind their own coffee.
Folgers makes an extremely well balanced coffee that is never bitter and always comes out perfect everytime. This is one coffee that I am not ashamed to serve to my family and friends when they come to visit.
Another plus about Folgers is the price. It is extremely reasonable and it is readily available in any market that I happen to walk into. It comes in a 13 ounce bag or can or a 36 ounce can. I buy the 36 ounce can. I don't want to run out.
Folgers in the can will keep unopened for a year and still have that wonderful aroma and flavor. In the bags it's best to use before six months.
The next time you are wanting to try a new coffee check out the red can or bag with the white lettering on the front that says Folgers you won't be disappointed.
