I got in touch with Flynote late in October for a girls trip to Thailand. I made it clear right at the beginning that even if the budget is high, I want the hotels to be good. The hotels they’d listed on their website were beach resorts. Forget beach resorts, we did not even get decent places to stay in. In spite of that when we reached Krabi, the hotel seemed to be very mediocre, which progressively got worse with every location. Krabi hotel (Ibis Styles) room was extremely small, no cupboards to keep our suitcases, rude staff. Phuket hotel (Casa Del M resort) - no AC for 3 days in spite of repeated complaints (the last night the AC repair person was walking in and out of our room till 12.30 in the night, no WiFi whatsoever, extremely rude staff, pathetic breakfast. Bangkok hotel - dirty hotel, felt very unsafe in the area where it’s located, cockroaches in the room. The hotel in Bangkok is so bad that I had to write this review as soon as I reached the hotel...I’m that pissed off! After having charged us 75k for the land package, we definitely expected far better hotels. On checking, the rates of none of the hotels are above 2-3k. We did not ask for a budget trip here. We paid more than enough and this is what we got. In addition, we didn’t receive any support or follow up throughout the trip enquiring about how it was going. Most of the transfers were shared, which wasn’t told to us before hand. There was no single point of contact; each day it was a different person to pick and drop us; some would come early and some would come late and would give no explanation at all for either. Except the locations, which Flynote can’t take credit for, the entire experience of the trip has been very very bad. I will never ever be recommending Flynote to anyone anymore, and even if I have, I will be personally reaching out to each one of them to let them know that they should never be availing their services. They completely spoilt the trip for us!
