First of all, I would like to post my honest review on flipkart.com based on the experience that I had.
First of all, I do not trust any online shopping because I have the mindset that online shopping costs more as well as the poor trust on the quality standards that these guys give. I mean, these guys never take it up in their mind to deliver the product without any damages.
I do not order much from flipkart.com except for two items that I ordered.
The first one was a mop( I don't remember the exact product listing's name as on flipkart) but that mop worked as it squeezed out absorbed water when we twist it. I ordered this product about 6 months ago. And when I received the product I found that there was no rod that was connecting the base unit(I mean the mop) with the handle. Immediately I called up flipkart and told them that the product was missing some components as in the original order listed on the flipkart website. Flipkart asked me for the order number and I gave them. They told they will give a callback within 2 hours of time and they did. Glad they kept up the promise, atleast. They told that the original seller didn't have that component so he shipped it without that. I told flipkart customer service then how can a seller list such a product on their website not having all the components for the product. The customer support executive who was on the phone, talked rudely like" Why are you asking me that? I am just working here and I do not take scoldings from any customer". But I asked him very gently and after this, I got really wild on the customer and said I wanted to speak to the supervisor but he simply cut the call.
Also, before cutting the call he said that only a replacement is possible and no refunds are allowed. Then I somehow fought and got the refund. This was my first horrible experience with flipkart.
Issue 2: I got a Eureka Forbes Trendy Vaccum Cleaner Nano version and upon receipt of the product I found that the product was damaged on arrival. Since I had a previous horrible experience, I wanted to open the product to check if there are any defects so that I could return back to the courier person itself. Since the product was on a COD(Cash-On-Delivery), the courier person started shouting to give the money and he was very rude. I told him that since I had a previous experience horrible with flipkart, I am opening the product to check if there are any defects so that in case that there are any defects, I can return it to the courier person without paying for it as the seller itself instructs to do so. When I said the courier person this statement, he got wild and started shouting that I am NOT ALLOWED to open the product as they will get some sort of bullshit complaints that they broke during delivery. I didn't oblige and told even the seller of the product has asked me to do just as I did and who are you to refuse return pickup. He didn't agree. So without any other way I accepted the product and paid for the product and called flipkart and told them these guys are behaving like these. They didn't even feel sorry. So I fought with flipkart and then asked them to refund the money for the product I purchased. They told that they will process the refund only after they receive the defective product on their end and then the refund would take 7 to 10 working days. Without no other go, I agreed and today only the courier person picked up the defective product. So waiting for the rest of the process.
But the ultimate conclusion as far as my experience goes is, NEVER EVER BUY FROM FLIPKART. They are cheaters looting all users's money.
