Don't order from Flipkart unless you absolutely can't find your product anywhere else. Dealing with their delivery and customer service is the worst and most frustrating experience I've ever had. Each time I order anything from them there is a big problem. Many times they ship out of date products, or their delivery guys claim to have tried to deliver and I've been at home waiting for them for days. Today was the icing on the cake and the very last time I'll deal with this horrible company.


I ordered 2 bottles of sauce that was not sold on Amazon. Flipkart always makes it harder to order because, unlike Amazon, they never accept my credit card, so I have to be home with exact change to get my delivery. My order was supposed to arrive on 4 Jan. Twice Hindi speaking delivery guys called and wanted directions. I offered to WhatsApp my location but they didn't have access to that app, then they demanded the OTP before they would bring me the package, but I never got the package. When a language barrier is found, why doesn't a supervisor route the pkg with an English speaking employee?


I looked up EKart's customer service contact info and emailed them, explaining that they could allow me to send them my exact location. I also gave them my landlord's number so she could relay the directions in Hindi.


Later yesterday, I got a call from an English speaking delivery guy. He knew exactly where I was located and said he was on the way. Darkness came, and still no package. About 7 pm they texted to say it had been rescheduled for today.


I woke up early to get my shower, since I had been unable to do anything since the 4th, due to this waiting. I had to forget my daily walks, my time on the roof in the sun, even cookies I need to make for a party. Everything was put on hold because I had to be here, cash in hand, to accept this package. They could not just drop at door. Discovery School Road is on every map app. Why don't delivery guys have access to map apps?


I called customer service and complained right after the 7 am text came. They said sorry, the package had already been returned due to 3 delivery attempts and I'd have to re-order. I'm finally completely fed up with Flipkart and their EKart service. I'd rather be shot than place another order with this totally mismanaged company.


The only time Flipkart gave me anything close to good service was when I ordered a bookcase and a moving company showed up several days early with the delivery. I don't know if they were supposed to unbox it and take the box away, but they didn't. Unboxing and disposing of that box was a big problem for me.
