Flipkart unprofessional behaviour and cheap tricks

I had ordered a phone via Flipkart on 9th June 2023 and the order was scheduled to be delivered to me on 16th of June 2023.


The order arrived in Hyderabad on 15th June 2023 but was not attempted for delivery.


On 16th June 2023, I reached out to the customer care telling them the order has reached the hub near to my house but hadn't been sent for delivery and asked them to talk to the hub incharge since there are a lot of complaints about that hub of not delivering packages to customers, misplacing items and cancelling orders. Everytime I spoke to the executives I was assured that the order will be delivered by 7 pm on 16th June 2023 and while I was on call without even informing me the delivery date was postponed to 18th June 2023.


After the call I realised this was the case that they altered the delivery date without even asking the customer. The very next day I went to the hub to collect my order on my own. I was made to wait for over an hour telling the order is there and it will be given if I wait and after an hour the agents there told me "Sir, your order just left 5 min ago". I asked him to call the delivery guy and tell him I'll come to collect it. I was then told the order is sent wrongly with some other items to the wrong location and will reach by evening to my house. I went home and spoke about this to the customer care agents again and again but it was more like I was having a conversation with a chatbot since they all kept copy-pasting the same message that order will be delivered to you sooner. We are highlighting this on priority and all.


Today after chasing and finally speaking to the customer care agents I was told Sir, please wait till Monday and it will be there. I asked them what is the reason for delay. First they tried to blame it on me stating I changed the delivery date and when I stood my ground that it was done by their agent, they said the order is delayed due to unforeseen situations.


I asked them what do you mean ? They were like delivery guy met with an accident or bad weather in your area or flood. I told them I stay in the same city where the order has to be delivered and it has to be delivered to me there is no natural or man made calamity happening in the city and there was no delivery partner assigned at all then how can you say the delivery partner met with an accident. I infact told them that it's their own hub agents who told they misplaced the order but were told it's your fault that you visited the hub and was asked to cancel the order. When I asked if I cancel when will I get refund? The agents were like "We don't know when will you get refund since it's not on us"


After paying so much money and chasing behind them for so long I am reaching out to this forum to seek some help in this case hoping there will be strict actions taken against Flipkart for their unprofessional behaviour and the distress caused to me by their own agents.
