Flipkart is a good online retailer.
Prices are good generally, but not always. Just search for the best prices and you might be lucky to get it on another web retailer. Flipkart does not give discount always. If they give, they mention it, else they don't mention both MRP and the Sale Price.
Flipkart does not send all those'Deal Of The Day'(read spam) emails. Just minding its own business. Good!
Delivery is well ahead of the promised delivery time. Promise less, deliver more. Great!
Packaging is good too.
It never goofs up when its a COD(Cash On Delivery), or a Prepaid order. For example, I order pizza with Dominos online sometimes and they always ask for money during delivery even when I have already paid with my credit card. Not with Flipkart. Never. Great again!
They need to increase the product categories on their website. There are so many things in regular use which are not available on Flipkart, but I believe they must be working on it too.
There is something about search-ability on Flipkart which I would like to recommend. That you cannot see the product/s of two different companies together. Like, you cannot search for'Dual SIM''QWERTY' mobile in Samsung and Nokia together.
EMI option on most websites is around Rs.2, 000/-, but on Flipkart it is Rs.4, 000/- minimum. Flipkart should also bring it down to around Rs.2, 000/-.
All in all, Flipkart means business and is here for good. Maybe earlier they were scared of Amazon coming to India. But Amazon India has not posed any threats to Flipkart so far through Junglee.com.
Buy from Flipkart and be relaxed!
