E-commerce is a revolution Bla Bla Bla.
Let me share my latest experience. I am working from home for last 3 years and therefore I am out in many wardrobe items since I didn't shop these things from a long time now.
Then one fine day I saw this Ad of #flipkartbigbilliondays sale and I thought this is an opportunity to buy some goods stuff at great discounts offcourse this was promised from a 5 star rated previously Indian startup. and deep down I have a respect for Flipkart too, coz they are the pioneer in Indian startup stories. and therefore I didn't open the #amazongreatindianfestival sale.
And then on 25th of Sept, I booked some 14 Items from Flipkart. I didn't know at that time that I am getting into a long cycle of HARASSMENT, unethical practices, awful management of logistics and pathetic customer service. Because after one week when i was expecting those product to be delivered, Flipkart customer service starts calling me to cancel the product and they will pay me the shipping charges which by the way are "0" and if i want i can re-book those product for which they are giving me 50/- ₹.
They are running a scam in day light, listing products in discount for there big billion day sale. And then cancelling it without your consent and then shamelessly calls you to rebook the same product in the inflated price and then to mock you they offered you to pay ₹ 50/-.
I am saying this because out of those 14 products, I am still waiting for 2 products to be delivered since 25th September. 3 products got cancelled by Flipkart without my concent, the tracking update was that the products are at my nearest hub. And at the end, they got cancelled because the seller wants to cancel it. Can someone tell me, what kind of absent minded seller first list the product, then ship it and then cancel it once it reaches the destination?
Even though I didn't get my products I have some faith in Flipkart's service till 9th Oct and therefor on 9th Oct, I booked another 3 high value items. Today is 16th Oct, Again the Items are shipped, arrived at my nearest hub and now there is a delay in delivery due to the sellers side.
I don't understand what kind of logistic service is this. And when you call the customer service, they have a simple reply, " the product got delay due to some logistical issue from the seller side". Which means that at the last moment when you are picking my product for delivery the seller arrived at your delivery hub out of no where and put the product in his pocket and running around in the city so that you could not deliver it to me.
The best part is, Flipkart is paying lacs of rupees to its logistical managers and customer service managers. Who don't have any control over last mile delivery. From 1st of Oct I am trying to connect with the customer service manager and every time the customer service executive tells me that the manager is not available, it seems that he is most busiest person in India, offcourse after Modi Ji.
There are 2 conclusions which any sane-minded person draws from your tracking updates on your App and your onground services. Either you have scammed 100s of buyers like me, and didn't even shipped those products, and just faking the updates on your Apps or you have a personal grudge with me.
At last, after talking to almost 50+ different executives getting almost 200+ update msgs from Flipkart, My suggestion to all, please buy from brick and mortar, if you have any heart issues or anxiety problems, because buying from Flipkart can cause serious health related issues.
And for me, I am still waiting. They say "you need to fight your own battle". Look what a dumb battle I am fighting.
Update: Just got a call from Flipkart, they have cancelled one item, the reason is, it is not arrived at Indore but on some other postal code.
I tell you the modus operandi, they list the product at the discounted rate, to attract more traffic and then refuse to deliver, because there is no such discount offered by the seller. Other how come my product tracking is updated on the Flipkart app as arrived at Indore Flipkart facility and now it is cancelled due to some other postal code issue.
Hilarious and I am totally pissed now.
