All you veggie food lovers, starving for variety, please head for this restaurant in Malad!! This is a restaurant serving a huge variety of cuisines from all over the world - there's Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Lebanese, Arabian, Indian, American....... And all veg. I have been here twice and have been very satisfied with the Mexican and Italian. Mexican: Try the Verdura Quesadilla (fried tortillas with bean and cheese stuffing with sour cream piped on top)......yum......and the cheesy nachos. Italian: The pastas were good and cooked quite well. Also, the desserts seem good. I had the brownie which was very good.
They also have a Baskin Robbins outlet outside. However, the sizzlers served aren't very good - at least the one I had - Mexican one which was supposed to be very spicy - was sweet!! Maybe they are catering to the Gujarati community's sweet tooth.......Malad has many Gujaratis. Also, the ambience is not very good.....a little cramped.....not very kid-friendly too..... However, this is a must-visit for vegetarians who want to eat something other than the regular Udipi fare or the moghlai fare when they go out.
The address is: Flags, Sadguru Restaurants, Asiad Co-op Hsg. Soc. Ltd., B. J. Patel Road, Near Liberty Gardens, Malad (W) Ph. 8821111/8832222 This road branches out from Marve road (the stretch between S.V. Road and Link Road).
