Hi Friends!

????????

Now-a-days bikes are becoming the most commonest ways of transport. Earlier there were only scooters and a very few bikes. But now as they give more mileage than the scooters many people are going for them. These bikes are divided in to segments according to their engine capacity. These suit various needs of different kinds of people. Some bikes are good, some are very bad. I had ridden many bikes. Out of them the worst one’s are as follows.

-

Bajaj BYK ?

-

This bike was released in the year 2003. It has a engine capacity of 97cc. The main draw back of this bike is its height. The bike has a very low ground clearance and less wheel base. The looks of this bike are also very bad. This bike’s performance is also very poor. The top speed of this bike is about 70-75. The bike has no fuel indicator also. This bike is highly suited for kids. The bajaj company has now stopped the production of this bike and is been promoting the production of its super hit bike CT-100. The bike costs about 35000.

-

Yamaha Crux Series ?

-

Why are this bikes made? For Whom are they made? These series of bikes lack in every thing. The main draw backs of these bikes are their rear tyre and performance. The rear tyre of this bike is very narrow. Probably the narrowest among all Indian bikes. As a result this bikes skids and vibrates a lot. I wonder why the Yamaha company is still producing these bikes. The bikes in this crux series are Yamaha Crux, Crux-R and Crux-S which is the latest one. The engine’s capacity of these bikes is also 97 cc. The top speeds of these bikes are about 80-85 only. Mileage seems to be around 70 Kmpl. These bikes cost about 38000.

Hero Honda’s CD-Dawn and Joy ?

-

These are actually twins. The Hero Honda company is fooling people by just changing its style and producing new bikes. Can some one tell me the difference between CD-Dawn and Joy? Listen, the only difference between these two bikes is the rear mud guard. The Joy’s mud guard is in black colour and is made of plastic, where as the CD-Dawns mud guard is made up of steel. The engine capacity of these bikes is same as the former bikes which is 97 cc. These bikes also have no fuel indicator. The mileage of these bikes is about 65-70 Kmpl. The top speed of these bikes is 80 Kmph. The bike’s height is ok. These bikes are a little bit heavy because of their excessive steel parts.

-

TVS Centra ?

-

This bike is the worst bike that I had ever seen in my life. This bike has been introduced in to the market in competition to Bajaj’s CT-100 and Hero Honda’s Splendor+. This bike has a cycle tyre. The tyre is very narrow. As a result the bike’s handling is very bad. This bike’s styling is very bad. Better go for CT-100 or Star City rather than buying this dust bin! The TVS Company gave a caption of  “Fill it once a month bike”. But this is quite opposite. This bike gives a mileage of 70 Kmpl, which is very less than CT-100 and Star City which give 90-100 Kmpl. The comfort is also very bad. I request all of you to not to buy any TVS bike. The recently introduced Star City is far better than this bike. Star City is superior to all bikes as told by Overdrive magazine. It costs about 40000.

-

Kinetic Boss ?

-

Hats of to Kapil Dev, who has advertised this bike! He is the brand ambassador of the Kinetic company, which is almost dead in India. This bike was launched in the year 2002, and was re-launched in 2004. The bike resembles Hero Honda’s CD-Dawn and Joy in styling, but doesn’t match in the performance. This bike is a under performer. There is nothing to buy in this bike. No Styling, no mileage, no performance and no comfort. This bike’s engine capacity is 97cc. The maximum speed of this bike is about 75-80 Kmph, where as the mileage seems to be around 50-60 Kmpl. This bike is truly a Living soul!

-

Some other worst bikes include ?

Kinetic Velocity, Bajaj Boxer AT, Hero Honda Achiever, Hero Honda Super Splendor, Bajaj Eliminator, LML Beamer, Yamaha Libero and Kawasaki Caliber.

-

The people who buy the above mentioned bikes will suffer a lot with their machines.

I personally recommend the following bikes ?

*Pulsar 150 DTS-i

Discover

CBZ

Star City

CT-100

RX-100 [Used]

Victor GLX.*
