This would be rather a difficult task to name five, for I have a good list of them. There are some who happened to land in this part of the world (Bollywood), the below may be the reasons,
1) their Parent’s were onetime Big Stars
2) They landed up here because of the Glamour and not talent.
3) They has the money to show off
My rating will go like the below.
1) Kareena Kapoor
Is it that cloths that make Indian women look good, then in this case we will go wrong? She is pretty and good-looking. But I would recommend that she is not fitting in the acting profile. She is absolutely pathetic. She is too bold and thinks that she all set to capture this film world. She is very talented and natural when she is on the screen. Oh God, have u seen the senseless and meaningful roles in the movies like K3G, Yaadein, Ajanabee…. I would like her to learn some acting from great actress like Jaya Bachan, Shabana Azmi, Rekha and to some extend her own sister Karishma (she’s doing good films lately).
2) Sushmita Sen
Hey friend, She had a beautiful face and a deadly figure, which got her all the fame. But do you agree if I say she doesn’t know the ABCD of acting. This is the category where I said landed from the glamour world. I do agree she’s got the looks in her, the grace and the charm but that doesn’t make a good an actress. Without much effort she fails to act, the expressions are not there. So I think she’d retired hurt and having a good family life (that also is something special).
3) Manisha Koirala
This is a lady who is from the third category, who had money and wanted to do something adventurous. I had do appreciate the movies in the beginning like the BOMBAY, KHAMOSHI etc. Then is lost track and landed up in trouble not knowing what to choose and what to do. She did all wrong things in life and so got the trouble. She according to me can be called the WEEPING QUEEN; all her films got her the crying lady roles. She was bad in choosing her roles, like DIL SE (made me cry thinking why she is always crying in this movie). She was into a very bad controversy recently, which was not required. It makes absolutely clear that she doesn’t know what she is doing when she is acting, How can an actress act without knowing the story of the project she id doing. So I name her an actress who doesn’t know what role she is acting.
4) Esha Deol
One more from the first category. Where is this actress coming from, do you know about the dream girl whom still the whole India Worship? Sorry to say she comes from the same family, but without much effort she fails in her task. She needs to do some serious thinking of whether to continue in this slot or give up. I think the coming time will decide where she will stand. I have little hope in being positive.
5) Bipasha Basu
This is another glamorous lady who doesn’t know the basics of acting. I don’t say models cannot act, but they must put effort in the same. The expressions must be right, the character must be chosen. Not walk into the film do some number dances, some stupid romance and that’s all. Try to learn from our falls, or pack your bag and settle for a happy family life. Why should we suffer? Put in some cloths into mind and you can do a better acting.
Apart from the mentioned five above there are so many more like Shilpa Shetty, Lisa Ray, Kimmy Katkar, Mandakini, and the sexy Sheeba. The Indian viewers watch them when they wear fewer clothes and do less acting. This will come to an end when the freshness is lost.
A talented actress will be remembered all thru the years like the Mother India, the Sadma , the Umrav Jaan ,etc.
Is this review a shock to the Indian viewer, believe the answer is NO. So let’s hope this brings some relief to the viewer by putting things black and white.
