I must be honest, I was very happy to know that Five Star Chicken has now opened its own cafe/restaurant where we can comfortably sit and eat unlike before where we could only pack it and take it home and it. But I was disappointed in more than one way.

I walked into the restaurant and was glad to see their advertisement, television ads and posters, also they had a brightly lit menu board at the back with all the various items they serve there. Apart from the chicken I didn't really like anything, the burger was not so satisfying, the roll was really bad, tasted more indian than anything else.

But this is not what my complain really is. Firstly, I had ordered two pieces of chicken there, halfway into the chicken I suddenly taste something really awful! I see it and it looks as the the chicken has lost its colour and is nor squishy black, I thought maybe this was just a bad piece and I started with the second one and I found the same thing in this as well. I was really annoyed, it was as though it either wasn't cooked well enough or was cooked with something other than oil, like water!

The other complaint I had was because I am a Mountain Dew fan and had ordered for a large cup or Mountain Dew with my chicken, once I tasted it I knew immediately that this is definitely not Mountain Dew! I was wondering what it was as I felt I had tasted it before, only to realise later that it was merely SUGARCANE JUICE! I was furious!

Though I'm not a person who goes back with the food and asks for a better one, I quietly finished my food whatever I could manage and then later before leaving made the remark about it politely and left, hoping they would've realised the mistake. But since then, I have not bothered going back to that place again.

Lastly, their chicken costs only 50 rupees when you have it anywhere, but here they charge you 65 rupees! When I asked them why the price was so high, they said it is because of the "Airconditioning". Wow, Five Star, just wow.

The love I have for Five Star Chicken was shattered with this restaurant version of theirs.
