KK= Kya Kool Singer..... Review on Five Best Songs of Kay Kay

“arrey yaaron dosti bari hi haseen hai….”, …. crooned one of my friends as we all gathered near our friendly neighbourhood café’ to celebrate friendship day last evening….(a kinda pre-f’day bash n stuff!)…. And what happened there made me realize what friendship is all about……inspite of being pako-fyed to the extent of a roasted chicken, ……we had to jhelo-fy(read tolerate)….our buddy’s attempt at being a super-cool singer…. and not only that we had to also bestow on him millions of compliments for his superb performance….haah! dosti insaan se kya kya karwati hai! Anyway, although my friend thinks that he is a super-singer….but the person who has sung this awesome song…is in reality….a damn cool singer….perhaps, one of the best singer our fikllum industry has ever had….n that’s KAY KAY…. so, here goes the review of five of his best songs….sit back….relax……n hum along….(I guess that ways, I’ll be able to forget kal ka musical hang-over….courtesy my buddy!)

1. YAARON DOSTI:- oh yesss….this has to be one of his best-est songs till date…. Friendship day or no friendship day, whenever you listen to this kewl song from the movie Rock-ford….you’re bound to think about your buddies while enjoying this free-flowing, breezy and cool song! The fact that after so many years since this song was released, it still finds its place in almost all the talent hunt shows, etc….goes to show its popularity…. also, the flick this song is from wasn’t really a big hit or anything, but still…this song somehow managed to make a mark…. The lyrics, ….the music….everything about this song is perfect….and the way KK has sung it….definitely adds to the beauty of this song….a must foryou’re your “friendship compilation CDs”….if you are planning to gift your friend today….

2.  AWARAAPAN-BANJARAPAN:- another master-piece by kay kay…this song from the movie jism….is a true gem…. Its got that “soothing” quality that is sooooo rare these days…. I think everything about this song is oh so cool…be it the music by MM. K reem or the lyrics….everything is just too good. Kay kay has done a really good job in this one…. the way he has paused, his pronounciation, the expressions, …is all so perfect…. the song comes across as this….you know….guide…to what life is…. so, inspite of this song being a kind of a sad-ish song, ….its not a typical sad song….rather it’s a song that simply calms you down and relaxes you…. so, the best time to listen to this one is….at night….before you sleep…. Just play this song….and fall asleep hearing the melodious voice of KK….n ofcourse, ….then you can simply snooze and dream about….kk….naah….john abrahm…(who  bhi toh tha is song mein!)…lol….

1. OH HUM DUM SUNIYO RE…. Now this is one helluva rocking track by kay kay…. This song from the movie,Saathiyaa…. Is although “inspired” by the “back-street boys ”  song, but hey….Kay kay can surely put these boys to shame….’cause of the awesome way he has sung this one…. the song simply rockkkkzzzz….and its all thanks to Kay kay’s kool voice! Me thinks the “rap-part” of this song is courtesy kunal ganjawala….but then so what? kay kay makes you tap youyr feet all through this song….  The style, the hat-ke accent that he has used while singing this one….makes it what it is….a chart-buster!

   
   




2. DUS BAHAANE:- hmmm…yeah, this song is rocking the nation right now and its thanks to the powerful voice of Kay kay….the style, the attitude and the spunk he has added to this song is amazing…. Its an instant cheer-up kinda song, ….and perfect if u wanna shake your leg…. Also, this song seems to be like the only saving grace of the immensely forgettable film…”dus”…. this song has a whole lotta evergy….naah…it aint just dus watts of energy…but a lotttt more than that…. Bindaas track….

   
   




3. TU AASHIQUI HAI:- yeps….the Jhankar Beats song…it just had to be in this list…. This flick boasted of some amazing music….n this song was like the icing on the cake….  Its got the typical “kay kay- ish” feel to it….you know…its light, breezy….and ofcourse, has that “feel good factor”…. the guitar sounds mind-blowing in the track….and kay kay simply makes this song….greeaaatttt…. a beautiful track indeed….

   
   

Haah….the list is already over….par yeh kya….i have more….n many more songs to list…. Like, tadap tadap ke is dil se ….which really measures kay kay’s range as a singer and he comes across as a real power-packed performer in this number, bardaasht nahi kar sakta….which simply rocckkkzzz…n bursts with energy, enthu and some kamala ke beats, pal…. and aapki dua …. from his album pal…. both of these songs are nice, and capture that feel-good factor which kay kay is famous fos…. koi kahe….from Dil chahta hai….which is like….the must have track for all the parties, …… and ah.well, the list simply goes endless….and hope that  kay kay keeps  coming up with more and more of such amazing tracks…
