''Congratz! U've been selected as our Star Writer'' when I received this MS email, I doublechecked to make sure it was addressed to Rek, ya sure it was! Then I began wondering [which is something I do a lot nowadayz :p] whats the reason to be given this special privilege? I don't write in language nor are my reviews on hi-funda topics or my views on war/peace/terror or not even psuedo intellectual stuff! All I review are some movies/books that I find interesting. Then why in the world....... well, someone had mentioned that if you have a good foto [esp. if you are a pretty girl] then being a SW is no big deal, so ye maybe this has something to do with my foto but wait-a-minute! That same moment MS refreshed its homepage & the bearded SW looking back at me didn't at all look..... well, you know what I mean, don't you? :o)
So, as far as I am concerned MS has a rather weird method of selecting its SW [not that I am complaining], I do understand that its not possible [but it should be] for MS to read each review & then judge a SW. But that is what I try to do on my spare time on MS, following is the list of reviewers who for me are simply The Best ones that we have on MS, at the moment. I don't have alerts for new reviews but these are the ones who are on my mind when I go on a reading spree to catch up on their latest reviews. These are my personal favourite Star Writers; doesn't matter whether MS has adorned them with the crown or not, for me they are already shining big time, on MS.
One of my close friend alwayz insists that ladki hamesha ladki ki dushman hoti hain. This is usually when we talk about girls n their habit of rrc'g reviews on MS! Now me too maintained that rek is different & while rrc's reviews I'm not biased, owing to which these are a few of the must mention Divas on MS, followed by the Devas. Each reviewerer here has a his/her own style of writing honest & straightforward reviews with a dash of humour, wherever required. Since I don't care for numbers, please don't count [or crib] on how many I've named here.

MS Divas:
Happyz: MS ki sunshine girl
We both started writing around the same time & I enjoyed reading her 30 reviews.... till Happyz got too busy for MS! True to her MS Id, she is a ever happy person & this also reflects in her reviews that range from topics like Art on bargaining, Yahoo Messenger, Local trains, Mountain Dew & even the Saathiya movie review. The one I like best is Yeh Hain Bombay review. I truly miss this Diva, wish she'd be back on MS soon.
Cpearl: Pearl in MS ocean!
She is one of the first reviewers I read on MS. I thought we shared the same interests & so made it a point to read her books n movie review but once I read her review on the war film Black Hawk Down, I was stupified & totally in awe of her writing skills!
Rjois: RJ Rulez!
Ever since this self-claimed God’s gift to the humankind, graced MS with her benevolent presence nothing has been the same. Her reviews are so hilarious n creative whether she experimenting in New Delhi, with Lacto Calamine Skin Cream or is in the Sky with Thai Airlines, RJ's reviews make a smooth read & leave the reader looking forward to her next whacky review.
CrazeeBiddee:Hope survives!
We share the same funda in life ‘Live and Let Live’ [even though Asha is still in trying stage, lolz]. Read her advise on care for Asthma, on choosing Insect Repellent Coils and the best one is surely the ..Oooh, Aaah, Ouch, Owww… I hate Dettol review [it made my head spin but I absolutely loved the way she has come up with the best qualities of Dettol]. Asha nahi toh MS nahi....

Devas on MS :
Madlalya: Master of MS!
Maddy will alwayz top the list of best reviewers simply because he has a fantastic style of presenting his reviews which seem to come straight from the heart. My fav Maddy reviews are his advise on choosing gifts for mom, caring for aging parents and it goes unsaid that no one can write music reviews as good as Maddy. In all of the MS Deva's Maddy Rulez :o)
Fatcat: MS ka Prasad!
A person who describes himself as boring but has the attitude of a Fatcat! Prasad can write on any topic with equal ease & each has a dash of his excellent sense of humour. His product reviews are as good as the user manuals & his reviews advising on travels, gifts for wife or sisters, ironing, tipping or even preparing a perfect CV are the best advises anyone could get on MS. The one that I will always remember as mottibilli's best review is the Rating on MS [wish MS would implement on some of those tips].
Vivekbp: NEO on MS!
I was almost in war with this Deva but thankfully we managed to forgive n forget or else I would have missed some of the bestest reviews on MS. His reviews are truly different as they are honest n hard hitting or funny sarcastic as suitable to the topic. His best reviews? Definitely the ones on ''matrix'' & ''google''. I think after reading these two reviews, there is no need to look or write another review on these two subjects.
Suyog: MS ka Yog!
I don't understanding anything he says on his profile but I do understand all of his reviews. Suyog’s presentation of review is different & superbly structured and sometimes it amazes me how much his mind works! The best ones for me are his movie reviews on Kaante & the Pianist and of course his Generic Gravy review.
Premjit: MS Prem ka deewana hain!
No wonder they experiment with Prem's SW foto [lolz] Well, that's my pathethic attempt at humour on the humour king of MS. Prem's witty reviews are a sure guarantee to put Smiles on the readers face. His reviews on choosing gifts for a mom, KKKG, Desh mein nikla hoga chand & MPKD really made my day but that doesn't mean all he writes is funny, read his book review on Madame Bovary or his travel review on Kasauli [Prem kahi shayar toh nahi?]. Do not miss reading Prem's Rendezvous with Simi Garewal!
Karan23: MS ka prodigy!
Barely out of teens this kid is certainly the most talented reviewers on MS, no questions about that! There is no topic he cannot write on & when I read his Gayatri Mantra review, main toh maan gayi is bache ko! His reviews are so detailed that they have to run into the comments section, this is what's best about Kiddo Karan, he leaves no stone unturned. Way to go Kiddo :o)
His best? each n every review, take a day off & get your dose of KK reviews.
Tongue-in-cheek: Einstein of MS!
A review a day keeps Cheeky's worries at bay! Its true that Cheeky churns out a oh-so-unique review everyday, on any n every topic that we could imagine, Cheeky's reviews are simply the best [I wish I can someday find a flaw in one of his reviews, lolz]. His english is so perfect that I actually have to refer to my dictionary for some of his reviews [not exaggerating here]. His reviews have some of the C's of a diamond : Clarity, Confidence, Color & of course his reviews are Cheeky.
errr....contd in comments :o)
