A little note here I wrote this once and when I submited it, it got lost somehow. UGH! So here I go again, I know I should have saved it to computer, don't worry I will do that this time.
Now for the last few weeks I have been reading what you all think about the best movies.
I have thought hard and long on it. I think the best movies are the ones you can watch over and over again and not get bored with them.
So my Top 5 best movies from the 1990's are the ones I never get bored with. I love a good love story, but believe it or not everyone of the movies on this list of mine is action! Though a few of them can send you into tears.
Now I am not going into great detail about each movie, that would put us here all day, and well we do have lives, right?
ID4-INDEPENDENCE DAY: Will Smith, Bill Pullman, and Jeff Goldblum. Aliens are suc*ing the earth of life. It's up to these characters to save the world. The graphics are out of this world. Watching Washington D.C. and California, blow up is a real experience. Not to meantion thousands of spaceships, tring to destroy the world.
MIB MEN IN BLACK: Will Smith, and Tommy Lee Jones. Aliens live among us, and it's up to these men to make sure all goes well. Of course it doesn't. It's up to the MIB to save the world. I love all the different looking aliens. My kids love this movie and watch it over and over again.
THE FIFTH ELEMENT: Bruce Willis, Milla Jovovich, and Gary Oldman. This movie is another alien movie. This is the idea of the four elements of life earth, wind, fire and water. Yet the writters of this movie put in a supreme being, Human. The fifth element and Bruce Willis must save the world from an ancient killer, that comes every 5000 years. My kids love this movie too.
One more time we are going to save the world but it's not aliens that are coming.
- ARMAGEDDON: Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck, Billy Bob Thornton, and Liv Tyler. A meteor is about to destory the earth and the only hope is a bunch of oil drillers. My husband's all time favoite. He has watched this movie at least 30 times. I like it for the love story, and the music, Areosmith does this movie alot of good.
Now this last one, the world is not in danger, just one man trying to get back to his family.
- CON AIR: Nicolas Cage, John Cusack, and John Malkovich. This is about a man who went to jail for protecting his wife and unborn child. 5 years later he gets out, and catches a flight with a bunch of hard core convicts. All h**l brakes lose on the plane and it's up to Nicolas Cage to make it home without being killed.
Now this is my list. Everyone has different tastes. If you haven't seen a few of them, check them out, you might be suprised.
Thanks for reading!
