This category of the five best animal motion pictures is certainly a very creative effort by Mouthshut. I write consumer reviews on other websites, and I have never seen a category like this, cheers to Mouthshut for its innovation. I’ve seen some very moving, and funny motion pictures with animal stars some were funny, some scary, and some were very sad. I’m one who enjoys the happy and adventurous moments with animals. Animals that we often associate with are our best friends whether we like them or not. My favorites are cats, and dogs.

The writers and producers of such movies that feature animals always manage to add a boost of magical flair, stunning visual, sound, and special effects. The extraordinary use of anthromorphsism, and personification combined vividly show the hyperbolic animated caricatures, and characteristics of the animals portrayed to appease, and entertain audiences and with the help of advance modern technology, and cinematography audiences find these movies fascinating.

My choice for the five best animal films are:

1.Animal Farm (1999) directed by John Stephenson, and adapted from George Orwell’s novel “Animal Farm”. This tall tale of a film directs our attention, and focus on a farm of animals that go on a revolt against the farmer, and take over the farm establishing their own world of empowerment and leadership. The special effects are great because of its generated computer technology combined with well-crafted artistry, animation, and cinematography.

2. 101 Dalmatians (1961) directed by Clyde Geronimi, Hamilton Luske. A master piece by Walt Disney who brings this innovative tale and thematic look at greed, animal cruelty, and love. In this delightfully funny tale a wealthy woman wants to buy a set of Dalmatian puppies from a local musician so she can kill them, and create a fur coat for herself. These darling little puppies are in a race against time to escape from the self-serving caper after they’ve been kidnapped. With the help of local dogs, and a host of farm animals the puppies will learn their fate.

3.Chicken Run (2005) directed by Nick Park..In this entertaining animated children’s movie a farmer and his wife are the owners of a chicken farm. Life for these chickens on the farm of Mr. Mrs. Tweedy isn’t always blissful. The chickens see the daily slaughter of their loved ones, and decide that enough is enough. They plan an escape, but obstacles stand in their way until they meet a flying roster that has escaped from the circus and finds his way to the barn of Mr. and Mrs. Tweedy and a host of desperate chickens.

4. Jurassic Park (1993)based on Michael Crichton’s best selling novel “Jurassic Park.” On a remote island, a wealthy entrepreneur secretly creates a theme park featuring living dinosaurs drawn from prehistoric DNA. Before opening the attraction to the public, he invites a top Paleontologist; a Paleobatiarist, a Mathematician, Theorist, and his two eager grandchildren to experience the park-and help calm anxious investors. However, their visit is anything but tranquil as the park ‘s security system beaks down, the prehistoric creatures break out, and the results and the excitement build to surprises.

5. King Kong (2006) directed by Academy award winning director Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings Trilogy) brings this spectacular remake of Merian C. Cooper’s 1933 release of “King Kong.” Naomi Watts, Jack Black, and Adrien Brody star in this adventurous, and heart pounding action packed film of terrifying creatures, and ground breaking special effects. In this tale a giant gorilla is captured on a treacherous island and brought to civilization, where he faces the ultimate fight for survival.

And there you have it this is my choice of the best animal films ever released.

Thanks for reading and rating.
