I have been using this app for 1.5 years since my baby boy was born to me in Feb 2019 so I think I may give a good review for this app.
I should say that a while after nationwide lockdown started in Indian states I switched to amazon for purchasing baby essentials since I found a better offer for diapers and wipes there.
Let's go there with pros and cons.
PROs:
1.There are some good offers in diapering up to 50% on diapers, wipes, etc and up to 70% on clothes that can save budget. Offers differ from day to day and even from hour to hour. Sometimes they launch offers daily sometimes for some hours daily and even for some minutes( like 11.00 pm-11.11 pm offer on some options). There are some cashback offers too like a 35% discount + 25% cashback on clothes and diapers on some days.
2.Some specific clothing brands like TOFFY HOUSE, BABYOYE, BABYHUG are very good and with the offer, these are very good options to purchase babywear. Else these are brands on which deals are happening most often. Toffyhouse and babyoye are better than baby hug clothes but less affordable hence baby hug quality not often up to the mark.
There are also cheap brands like Tango, cucumber but clothes quality is very poor often so does not worth its price.
3.They have a parenting section where one can post a question regarding baby growth, vaccination, pregnancy, etc and get advice from specialists ie pediatrician, gynecologist, etc as well as from other parents. Else there are blog options, games, and photo contents on participating in which one may win a prize.
4.Delivery timeline for diapering is not more than 2-3 days even for non-metro cities.
CONs:
1.Deals and offers.
They are launched beautiful deals and offers sometimes multiply offers daily but all of those wonderful discounts and low prices are so unreliable. Yes, that's just a beautiful lie! Cause once you went to cart summary they charge GST TAX which increases price sometimes even drastically especially on diapers. GST on diapers is not less than 60-75 rs per 62pcs pack calculating which offer hardly will be even 40% and a pack won't cost less than the one you can find in Amazon.
Think twice before ordering.
2.Customer care calls you only in case you have canceled the order to try to convince you to still repurchase the same otherwise in case of any other issue just don't wait much from cc service much.
Once I had a query about my redeemable points they reply after 2-3 days that too the woman which called me could not explain properly how can I redeem and collect my points.
Leave that, after so many orders I hardly got 40 points and can not redeem it since only min 50 points are redeemable.
3.Some brands are so costly but the quality is so terrific. This year I purchased Cutewalk by baby hug sandals for my boy just before lockdown. It came on March 24th just a day before lockdown started and if not pandemic I would try to return it. It was in such a bad condition I would think it was already worn for some time and was not worn carefully cause all the leather was torn and shoes very dirty. Had to keep it as could not purchase another one due to lockdown. Neither cc service worked at that time. But I stopped any purchasing from Firstcry since than.
So I would recommend this online store only if you want to buy Toffyhouse, baby hug, babyoye clothes in a good discount or else you need a specific diaper brand. Otherwise, you can find better offers from the Amazon brand without being surprised by GST tax.
