Yes...you can. a teenager acquires the power to foresee death and to understand its ways.

everyone is doomed for that final destination ....everyone has to D-I-E. its just a long road that ends into a deep valley, namely death. some get their real fast (undertakers are fond of overtakers??) while others take their own time. usually, there are no breaks...but our protagonist here has got hold of some. however, conveniently for the story-writer and disappointingly for us...they are just temporary ones. you cant get your vehicle to stop or turn away.

so, while watching this movie that could have been, you keep wondering how our buddy with supernatural powers will avert the final destination...and what you get in the end is, he wont...so sorry!

he'll just have to play with death all the time...almost like the game of chess, left with your last survivor, the king, you move him from block to block trying to escape your mighty opponent. in the end, you lose.

the only villian in final destination is death

but the way death has been depicted isnt bad at all. you dont have a king kong size monster peeping into your window or a white as this screen weirdo pulling your leg while sitting under the bed ( remember sixth sense? )

this stuff could happen to anybody. and its this reality is what makes the plot even more interesting. your house catches fire, you get strangled by wires... etc.

the movie gets your attention throughout the 1.5 hours but you just keep looking at the screen...not much of a sense of thrill or fear. except a few scenes here and there.

another one for a boring afternoon...or a boring night if you get scared at that time. chances are, you wont.
