The film starring Shahid Kapoor, Kareena and Fardeen, is about a couple conning an innocent man for money. This film is all about a hacker who has transferred huge amounts of money from the bank account of an underworld don ad how he traps another peron by making him tell the police that he is the real hacker ( which he isn't ) . JAI ( Shahid Kapoor ) who is an orphan and is leading a simple life. One day he meets NEHA ( Kareema Kapoor ) and falls in love with her. He proposes and she accepts him in his second atempt as he try's to kill himself.

Then one day some underworld people come can destroys NEHA'S house. When JAI comes there he gets to know the whole thing . Then he thinks of a plan. Then one day as he goes in a bank intending to rob it he sees VIKRAM ( Fardeen Khan ) and he thinks to rob him. He follows him to his house. He then goes to his house in the night and intends to rob his money. But JAI is caught ........................................................................

This short flick just under two hours has a classy look and is fast paced. It is shot well in beautiful locales and has good music by Anu Malik including the numbers Aaja Ve Mahi, Nazar Nazar etc. Performances are great but the writing suffers in between. The director deserves credit for choosing an unconventional theme for his film.

......................... The next day he asks JAI why he tryed to rob him. He tells him the story. VIKRAM agrees to give him money if he tells the police that he is the hacker. HE agrees and get the money. He gives the money to NEHA and then gets himself caught by the police. While he is taken to the court the members of the underworld don try capture him . But he escapes and when he reaches NEHA'S house he gets a shock when he sees NEHA with VIKRAM . She tells him that this was all their plan so that they could the money and also not be captured ..................................

Shahid Kapoor gives a compelling performance. He expresses the range of emotions of his character very well. Kareena in a negative role, steals the show with her looks as well as her superb acting. Fardeen Khan looks very much the scheming polished character that he is in the film.

......................................... then VIKRAM tells him to run away ( which he does ) then he escapes in a train. But the police see him and they shoot him and he falls in the river. After 2 months NEHA stars seeing JAI again and tells VIKRAM. VIKRAM tells that she is just seeing things. But when JAI calls VIKRAM he gets to know that he is alive. He tracks down the call and trys to kill him . But he does not die. But one day JAI goes an kidnaps NEHA and takes her to someplace. JAI tells VIKRAM to meet him.

He tells that he will give him NEHA back if he tells the police that he is the hacker. He accepts it and tells him that he wants to meet her. When they go their they find out that she is not there. They see that the underworld don has captured her. They try to save and and kill all the members of the underworld don. In the end VIKRAM kills JAI but JAI sees a gun and picks and shoots it straight to NEHA'S head . After that VIKRAM dontaes all the money he robbed and here is where the story ends.

Shahid Kapoor has all it takes to be an actor of substance. He handles his part with complete understanding. Fardeen Khan is fair. He has the suave look to carry off this character. But he suffers largely due to a sketchy characterization. His role doesn't give him scope to match Shahid and Kareena's well-penned characterizations. Kareena Kapoor is in great form. The actress gets the best part and must say, she sinks her teeth into it and emerges with flying colours. This is amongst her finest work to date. She looks bewitching as well. Plus, the chemistry between Shahid and Kareena is electrifying.
