Fiat has finally launched palio diesel which fiat desperately needs success to put palio back on track.palio diesel is up against formidable competition with indica and zen D.
1]INTERIORS-
Coming across the interiors the palio D is similar to petrol palio,the centre console and air con vent surrounds get a wood finish which looks more cheap than upmarket in ELX model.A tacho redlined at 5000 rpm is also standard on all models.The front seats and rear seats are better enough than its rivals thanks to its large boot space.

2]ENGINE&GEARBOX-
The 1910cc engine is naturally aspirated with single overhead cam and two valves per cylinder,this diesel develops 63bhp and 12.2 kgm of torque.The palio's gearbox is pretty impressive as compared to its rivals its gearshift makes no trouble for driving.

Palio's performance makes it the most driver friendly flat out accelaration is nothing to write about and palio D
hits 100kph in 19 secs.the palio is a serious performer at any speed,the palio rides like a dream and handling is hassle free and steering is too responsive at any speed.

The heavy palio D with its large engine gives an acceptable average of 14kpl overall which is not bad for diesel car.

Priced at Rs 4.2-4.8lacs tag I can say that palio D is a good choice if anyone is looking for B-segment car if u dont mind its sales and service.
