Are you sick of those boring, weepy sops?
Are you tired of those dumb plays?
Want a change????????!!!!!!
Never fear, FEAR FACTOR is here!!!
Can you guess what this show is about just from its name (unless you've seen it before, of course!)? Let me tell you the Fear factor way:
How will you feel, faced with your greatest fears all around you? And a grand prize of 50,000 $ at the end?!?!
3 Men + 3 Women....
3 Stunts.....
One Winner....
$ 50,000!!
Thus goes the main title and coupled with some great music, all you can do is stare fixedly at the TV, not wanting to take your eyes off the screen in the least!
Fear Factor is a reality show on TV. 6 people are selected from all over the country for one reason: to stare fear in the eye as they compete for 50,000 $! And to get the money, they would have to perform three extreme stunts, stunts that would not only challenge them mentally, but physically as well!
If they're too afraid to do a stunt, they'll be eliminated! If they attempt a stunt but fail to complete it, they're gone! But, if they do complete a stunt they'll move on to the next round and be that much closer to the cash!
Got it, folks? Now, onto the stunts! All the competitors have to perform 3 stunts and be able to complete all of them to win the cash!
The First Stunt:It is usually something physically challenging. It usually involves hanging onto the base of a flying helicopter and getting some flags, and that kind of stuff. The persons who do this the fastest move on to the next round.
The Second Stunt: This stunt is usually a very gross and yucky stunt, challenging you mentally rather than physically. It usually involves eating something gross (how do live hissing Madagascar cockroaches or plump, juicy tomato worms sound?) or being buried in heaps or snakes or being covered in live bees and the like.
The Final Stunt: The last stunt involves something highly physically challenging like jumping from one rooftop to the other rooftop of a skyscraper, or being swirled round and round by a helicopter and the like.
Although it sounds very bland here, it is quite exciting to watch and you never come to know when the one hour that this show is aired flies by!
Also, there are Fear Factor Specials like the Couples Special, Twins Special, Ladies Special, Families Special, etc.
The bad part is, that AXN cuts the second stunt sometimes, as all the stunts cannot be shown within one hour. This is really bad as the second stunt is the most exciting stunt to watch!
All in all, a great show and a must watch!
P.S.: Fear Factor is shown every Monday at 9:00 P. M. in India on AXN.
