*Among the long brigade of talented and successful Bollywood directors, I always wait for the movies of my favorite directors like Priyadarshan, Maniratnam, Madhur Bhandarkar, vishal Bhardwaj, etc...mostly I like the movies which are somewhat different from the league and luckily I got my choice of flicks regularly...
Madhur Bhandarkar is one of my favorite director due to his real life story telling style. Madhur has exlpored the society very well in all his movies...
Whether its a sad and tragic story of Mumtaj (Tabu) in Chandni Bar or a struggling story of greedy politicians in Satta or show off life style of high class in Page 3 & Corporate or its tragic but happy life of beggars of Traffic Signal, he was successful in delivering his message all the time...

Madhur belongs to a very simple family, he was a die hard movie buff right from his childhood and started a video library to live his passion and to earn...Later on he started his career as an assistant director to some well known directors of Bollywood...His first commercial movie was Trishakti which was a super duper flop but later on he decided to make movies of his own style, rather we can say movies based on real life incidents...

Madhur this time explored the glamorous Fashion world in his latest movie - Fashion. Its a life story of a simple, beautiful and very ambitious small town girl Meghna Mathur (Priyanka Chopra) with big dreams. She had a great flair for fashion world which compell her to leave her home irrespective of her father's objection...Its her innocent and caring mother who motivated her to try her luck in fashion world...Meghna moved to Mumbai, got accomodated in her maternal uncles' family for some time and started her struggle for an entry in fashion world with the help of a friend, who helped her in her initial days of struggle with her friendly and professional efforts...
The innocent and hesitating girl become an arrogant Supermodel after getting enormous and quick success...Meghna looked very lucky throughout the movie, she met with many good persons in her life who were all so much friendly to her that they helped her in her bad time too...Priyanka Chopra has appeared with different looks in the movie, there are five changes that happen to her character in the movie. When she comes from Chandigarh, she has a little bit of a small-town kind of styling, then she becomes a model...later on a little more polished and then she becomes very stylish and finally a supermodel replacing the top model Sholani Gujral (Kangna Ranaut)...
As said there is always a dark night after a hot sunny day, same happen with Meghna and her stardome came to an end due to her arrogance and irresponsible attitude...after some very bad incidents she came back to her family to live a very dull & colorless life. Once again her parents sent her back to the Fashion to find herself but now she has to start everything from the scratch, got help from her friends, she once again try her best to get back her shine...

Priyanka Chopra - Fashion is a woman-centric movie with Priyanka Chopra in the lead role which is a substantial & strong character with many shades. Moreover she has never done this type of character before. several ups & downs. Viewers got to see the entire fashion industry from her character's point of view.
Kangna Ranaut- Kangna looked gorgeous and very different from her last roles. she has played the role of an arrogant super model Shonali Gujral very effectively & beautifully.
Mugdha Godse - Another beautiful actress, former Miss India & top model debuts in Bollywood movie as a failed model Janet in Fashion, says she could identify a lot with her character in the film. As a model she can relate a lot to her character in the movie. According to her Fashion is very close to the reality, but with a mix of fiction. It very well captures the emotions of everyone involved in the fashion fraternity, from a model to a designer.
Arjan Bajwa- Model-turned-actor is playing the character of struggling model in the movie who got some success later, he is a good helping person but he don't want to compromise for having illegal relationships for success, he share apartment with Meghna and also became her first love...Arjan is hopeful that the movie might prove as a turning point in his career...
Arbaaz Khan- Played the character of Abhijeet Sareen, the shrewd owner of Advertising Agency - Panache, very well know how to use all his models both professinally and personally...
Harsh Chhaya- A successful but arrogant top fashion designer who once ask Meghna to get out of the fashion show when she was a struggler but later on as she became a super model he was ready to lick her feet...Harsh had used a different tone in the movie, seems to have a babble tongue...
Kitu Kidwani- looked beautiful and young, she works for Panache promoting models...
Sameer Soni- Another fashion desginer who has a boy friend and marry to Mugdha Godse, who is also his school mate, just for his mother's satisfaction as he has no interest in girls.
