Fanaa proves to be an overhyped movie which grossly fails to live upto expectations. For sensible viewers who are expecting content, a sound story line and gud entertainment, this movie is strictly avoidable. The first half of the movie is very slow and repetitive in nature. The 1st 15 minutes of the second half tries to build in some action but the momentum soons dies down. Some 10 actors like: Tabu, Lara dutt, Satish kaushik, Sunil menon, Lillette dubey,etc have been given small 2 minutes roles and their talent kept underutilised.
Aamir performance as compared to his previous films like Rang De Basanti/Lagan can be rated 'So-so'. Kajol is the only ray of hope in this film. If ur a die hard Kajol fan u should watch this film. She has a done a gud job. But if ur an average movie goer who wants good entertainment above everything else, pls stay away from the theatres.
The movie seems to be so low budget that it could have been shot over 15 days. Kunal kohli has let down his fans.
