I hate to say this but ShahRukh Khan plays the freaky and psycho roles amazingly. I am a huge SRK fan and I was freaked out by the movie. Remember the time, when SRK used to be the bad boy of the cinema, well, this movie shows that no matter what SRK will still remain the bad and the good boy.
The movie has too many shades to it.
Superstar Aryan Khanna(SRK) is going through a rough phase in his career but still is the superstar to many. While Aryan Khanna is trying to keep his image good in Bollywood, there’s a fan of his in Delhi who runs a Cyber cafe and worships Aryan Khanna. This fan is Gaurav Channa(SRK, again). The 25 year old fan has devoted his entire life to Aryan Khanna. Gaurav travels from Delhi to Mumbai and risks his life when the TC comes, with all the hard work; he makes it to B-Town on time for Aryan Khanna’s birthday.
There are tonnes of fans outside Aryan Khanna’s house for his birthday and amongst the lot there was Gaurav too, with a trophy he won enacting as Aryan in one hand and sweets sent by Gaurav’s mother in the other hand.
Gaurav falls in a mess and his bubble of imagination with Aryan’s character bursts and breaks his heart too. He realises Aryan is nothing like on movies and interviews. Gaurav makes a plan to make Aryan apologise to his fans and to him. However, the movie takes a turn.
As an audience, I was unsure if I should be apologetic towards Aryan or Gaurav as they both weren’t wrong on their part.
The movie ends on a sad note, leaving a lot of SRK fans with teary eyes.
All in all, this movie is good for the fans of SRK. The SRK critic wouldn’t really appreciate the movie.
