This film takes the cake this year.
And smacks it straight into the face of who's known to be the stupidest president the galaxy has ever seen. Maybe even the stupidest person, but then there is Some stiff competition from Paris Hilton.
I saw this film extremely eagerly. I was dying to talk about it to someone. Soon as I stepped out, there were some anti-war sob lobbies, some ''how can u insult the president lobbies'' and some ''hahaha he was funny'' lobbies. Bit my tongue, sliced it into small pieces and tried to swallow. Disgusting. Stupider than George bush. Man if I had an aeroplane today, I know where I'd be flying it into.
A Brilliantly put together film. Michael moore doesnt pretend to NOT have a viewpoint. Its hypocritical to enter a film and assume he shouldnt have one. Why the hell not? Are we stupid enough to believe the media and his opposition are all neutral and angelic observers? Fox News is probably the most infuriating use of a satellite in history. They should probably just increase the spin velocity and see if it makes America giddy. Truly disgusting.
Like his books, and ''Bowling for Columbine'', Moore addresses issues as simply and ''innocently'' as any one of us. He asks basic questions, not earth shattering in complexities and language, but doesnt receive answers to any one.
Cant believe that there still exists a Rifle owners association AFTER his film, even if they were all stupid about them before. Sad that a nation composed of arguably the most wasteful, least informed and overall most disgusting people actually believe they run the planet.
The whole anti-war stance is kind of obvious. No one in their right mind would oppose that stance. Which proves two things. Moore is addressing a much larger issue, and that our dear Dubya is not in his right mind.
Moore hasn't just made an anti war documentary, if thats all we get out of something like that its worse. He's offered directions for thought! In a brainwashed Huxley-ish country, thats a potent tool. How can one believe anything there? The president wasnt popularly selected, the news channels are propoganda renamed, and its overall a shitty place to be stuck in. And then they have neck-and-neck opinion polls. Defeats me. If the film just allows the supermarket-categorised-yellow-green-barcoded minds of these freaks to think a little, it'll have done its job.
Also felt like killing everyone I saw the film with. Specially that ''how can they do this to their president'' lobby. Thats probably what they would even if george bush had by now killed one of their kids, or ran around nude on route 66, or even wiped his behind with the flag. Cheers all the way! Hurrah for the president! Sick. Can't see whats wrong with calling an idiot an idiot. And removing him from where he sits with the least tact and maximum physical damage.
Hope theres lots Moore where that came from. Bravo.
