Facebook is mesmerizing but not addictive like... Review on Facebook

You may be fully satisfied with a product or service, but at times you do search for other brands producing on similar lines though you may be quite sure that it going to be inferior than our most liked product,service.

I was no exception either.

I joined Facebook for two reasons One, I mentioned just now and the other was `going with the masses`attitude. And also, it`s nothing bad to give a popular service at least a `half hearted` try... lol.

But this site has indeed many good stuffs.

I use mostly the Mobile version of FB on my Nokia E 63(Review is long due by me!!). I liked the two way system of log in to the site. Through Mobile number or through the e-mail id. The home page loads in seconds, little faster than our beloved MS.

The first scene is the rectangle with an innovative heading ``What is in your mind?`` and a ``Share`` link by the side of it.But above this are four categories like the `Home` , `Notification` , `Profile` and `Inbox`

At the bottom portion is again a rectangle bar which is meant for SEARCH friends or some other stuffs. I also noticed an option to download a Favorite apps for my Nokia E 63. I am impressed with their advanced system of ascertaining the make and model of a mobile handset.

The home page also contains all recent (latest few) notification as per the friend circle. It also has a link to read All Notification and link like `Comment` and `Like`. I liked an option of `Poke`. That means if you do not want to write anything on the `WALL` of a person and just would like to do some `Fingering` action then it`s a marvelous option indeed. I enjoy this feature and use it regularly as I hardly have any disposable time from MS. And Fingering hardly takes any time...lol.

My special appreciation for the `Poke` option. For me it`s most interesting feature.

If you just want to increase your friend circle, then you have all suggestions like `people you may know` and necessary links. Masses are mad behind this feature only which I consider a plain time pass, at least to me.

There is an Invitation option in which after giving the e mail id the `friends` can be invited. The Editing of Profile is another very cool feature where FULL customization about your profile can be done.One more cool feature is the SMS Update of the Status of yours which can be done just by sending a SMS to a designated number from your registered mobile.

Good Show FaceBook. I shall use this feature to write the Link of my latest write ups on mouthshut.com and bring as many people as I could to MS platform and it will be a great social service too !!!
