Review: About a social networking site

Purpose: NIL

PROS: You get nothing out of this review!

CONS: You get nothing out of this review!

Introduction:

God gave me an option to opt from a list of social networking sites. The farthest my mind could fly to confirm among the rest was to book my face on a page… a virtual page as in Face Book. I know you got a page out there to hook up with the unknown faces you meet anywhere across the world. The silly me found many random souls from the lot and have been waving my arms in the air to gain more friends… Virtual friends…

Ah, now that sounds so insane. We all live in a virtual world. What’s so sick about the whole concept? Well, it’s all in mind. It’s all about how we deal with it.

There were times when I kept de-activating and deleting my accounts. Long gone days are the moral scripture for tomorrow. I don’t think I should do that mistake again. I chose to fight with my fear. Oh dear, I won… Alas, we are stronger than anything else in the world.

I like Face Book for the following reasons:

1.       It’s user friendly.

2.       I met my long gone friends.

3.       Games (I don’t play any. I know some of my MS’ians do send me request out there however I just don’t want to get addicted to it)

4.       Photo Albums (Very well organized I must say)

5.       To get connected with friends

I dislike Face Book for the following reasons:

1.       Games

2.       I met my long gone friends. (Never thought I’d meet them again)

3.       Photo Albums (I still have no idea if we have a choice to avoid people tagging us with photos)

4.       To get connected with friends (There is no other go)

Last week I got a call from India asking me to take a pen and paper. I was like, huh, duh! She gave me her username and password of the face book account. I was asked to look after her farm since her computer is crashed and she is worried about her crops. For a moment I wished if we all had the same urge to do it in real life, things would have been amazing. That picture itself gave me a kick. Ah, well… things change… people change… we all got to adjust with the circumstances… Face Book wasn’t even in my wildest dreams; however it has its brighter side as well… I find it good. It’s all about how we deal with it… how we deal with the change is all matters… Have a nice time ahead…
