I have been using Facebook for the past 8 years and since 5 years Iam using facebook messenger to text friends on FB. I have tried many such apps through which we can text friends in Facebook but FB Messenger is what I felt a good one.
But as the years have passed I think FB messenger is going backwards in its features and easiness of using app. I have been using an older version of messenger which I found is more easy to handle than the newer version. One feature among the newer version what I found most irritating is the SMS feature. Those SMSs we recieved on phone will be shown while I open the app. And moreover now I cant send SMS from my phone I have to send it through Messenger. This is the reason why I switched on to older versions. If you guys too want to try older versions I will put up the link from where you can download older versions.
The calling quality has increased and Iam fully satisfied with that. I have two Facebook accounts one for office purpose and the other for my private purposes and I finds it really easy to switch on from one to anather.
Another defect I noted was the lag while I open messenger, always there comes a white screen which stays there for nearly 2 min and then only opens messenger. I have a phone of 4GB RAM so I don't think its the problem of my phone. Another thing is while looking for people online it takes lots of time to load. I will put a screenshot so that you guys can understand.
Ofcourse among the apps used to message through FB, messenger is the best one but its quality is decreasing
