Amidst much hullabaloo for the launch of Karan Johar’s web series - Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, and the controversy over using the title which was originally planned by Madhur Bhandarkar, I watched the inaugural episode within minutes of its launch on Netflix.
It just seemed a drag, endless drag, irritatingly boring and very stretched with ‘well past their prime’ wives; over made up to hide real wrinkles; dumb dialog delivery; repetitive in most cases; and nothing fabulous at all......as it was portrayed..... Laball or Le Balle or whatever and constantly referring to the French capital city as PariS with the pronounced hiss at the end, not forgetting all the other accents even while talking to the maid, but forgot that its Parie as in Marie, with lesser stress on the ‘a’, to sound like Pu’h ree!!
All in all, i could not stand to watch even 5-7 minutes and its waste of time.
