Worst Hotel and Poorest Customer Service

This was my first time at FabHotel property, and the worst of our lifetime. Unfortunate to a level that the hotel has become life-threatening to us.


The reception staff was literally shouting at us, that we wanted to make a police complaint. My family was so upset with the poor hotel and the worst customer service.


The series of events was setting low standards:-


1. We were initially cheated by giving a sub standard room(deluxe instead of premium which was supposedly neat and clean, with sofa seating arrangement, etc) and when I talked at customer care, team initially didn’t help but then asked for pictures. I clicked couple of pictures and was about to send but then one of the hotel staff probably realized his cheating, then they allocated us different just manageable rooms. But only out of two rooms, one was ready, and another needed more hours for cleaning, so we managed with one room only, left for temple, and finally got another room in the night upon return from temple visit in the night.


2. We reached the hotel around 9:30 AM and were allocated wrong room(that I mentioned above - dirty and was not given a premium room, which was shown with us all through our compliant time. He initially charged us 500 rupees more in the name of early check-in, whereas the actual room was allocated only after 12 PM. This is a looting of tourists.


3. The room had torn towels, damp walls, dirty all over, sticking bed sheets, and above all poor service.


4. The hotel didn’t have hot water - neither at night when we had to leave for temple and had to take bath with cold water - kids, my parents and family were so extremely upset in the night.


Upon enquire, the reception staff rudely said that it will be available only in the morning.


5. Next day morning, it was again not available but his rudeness was to a level that we simply ignored and suffered.


6. Hotel didn’t serve breakfast until 9 AM because they don’t operate kitchen until 8-8:30 AM. Due to this, my mother had to wait for so long before she could take her morning medicine. Since there is nothing near to the hotel, so we again had to wait for so long for her to eat something and have her medicine.


7. I asked for 4 tea but only 2 were served, even though I visited kitchen to request but no help.


8. I enquired in early morning that what do you serve in the breakfast so he asked us to refer to the menu card available in the room. I specifically asked about menu and he said “anything in the breakfast menu”, but at the time of checkout, he charges us 210 rupees more for breakfast- stating that not all items are available in breakfast as a part of package which wasn’t told to us. Even though we missed one day.


9. The security and service staff were just there for no good reason and were only standing when they felt time for tip. We had to clean and manage with the hotel to avoid so many complaints.


10. The list could be endless but WORST of all, the reception staff started shouting and yelling at us at the time of checkout. He was misbehaving throughout and was like a “Gunda”.


I will ensure that feedback reaches to masses and to as many people across social networking and other websites and will pass on to all in networking circles.


CHEATING, LOOTING, AND SHOUTING at guests will only get FabHotel a serious bad name, and will soon become identical of poorest service quality in the hotel industry whereas the industry should only be courteous, humble, respectful, honest and customer oriented.


Your hotel mantra is Fabulous or Free, and 100%Safe but now it should be extremely life threatening and guest will be looted in every instances.
