We purchased Faber Cook Top(Gas Stove) which developed problem within the warranty period, problem towards risk of life. We have used the stove hardly for 20 days as we were out of station. Knob/s of gas system had proven to be faulty. The knob was easily moving in all directions and gas was not switching off. This is Faber quality. This is a matter of safety and security and it reflects the quality system of the company.
We have used previously stoves from Sunflame and Superflame like brands which never developed problems for decades. But alas we were misguided regarding the best quality of stoves available with FABER India. Fab Service is quite pathetic. Let me give you a recap regarding my follow-up with the company for the resolution of the concern.
We had lodged a complaint on 05/11/2021 vide Ticket No.RAJ0511210015. Service representative never bothered to call. I sent so many mails to company and got flowery reply only with zero action to resolve my concern. I first followed with the Service stations of the concerned location. In order to avoid resolution of my complaint they first blamed me that I had made fitment through outside vendor which ultimately proved false. They even did not have any record to check about fitment through their own technician. I was promised for days that the service representative would be deputed but any Service Representative / Technician never bothered to visit on the given time. I called the concerned Senior Service Executive throughout for 2 days and he even failed to depute the Service Technician on two days. I was told to give service charges of Rs.350/- even when the product was under warranty. I ultimately agreed but still the technician was not deputed at the appointed time or throughout the day. I did not go to office for 3 days as their promised time kept on shifting from one to another and day to next day. Finally, I told their Senior Service Representative that his communication and handling the concern was not up to the mark. I am planning to leave from my location for an outside tour without resolution of the concern.
Once again would like to submit that the 1st time usage of Faber product is pathetic in terms of quality and after service experience. I am writing this post for the information of general public interested to purchase of any product from Faber. Please be pre-informed about this kind of after sales service. It is so sad that I have purchased the Faber product.
