I happened to go to ezone koramangala to purchase a new clothes iron box.
These are a few observations which I noted out there....you can pick any item from display or ask them to show a fresh piece from the packed box, it would have a scratch mark somewhere, or some paint removed, or the power cord would be cut ...please note these are so minor that you need to check thoroughly....evidence...please go to the clothes iron box section on 1st floor, , ask for black and decor iron box they will have one on display and 5 spare pieces in the box sealed...ask them to open each and every item you would find the sole plate with full scratches or some minor cuts on the power cord....enquire where is the ok tested quality sticker which you would generally find on new products...it will not have and they would say favorite dialogue that when things come in bulk then during shipping all this scratches happen...mind you they think customers are dumb...although I am not from a consumer durable background ..however when I purchase some products where I don't find any sale and its sold at mrp...
I always notice an ok tested quality checked sticker on that product...however whenever I go in to check any sale products specially electronics at ezone, croma, star bazaar I dont find the ok tested sticker and its sold at a cheaper price....i would like some advice from my friends on MS ...products which are sold as sale at a cheaper price are they the rejected pieces from the manufacturer which does not pass the quality test (ok tested) sticker phase....i am not aware of it so wanted to know from you guyz....another evidence...please step into staples at koramangala ask for epson sylus ts 400 printer check on the top it would have lot of scratch marks...ask for fresh sealed box piece that would also have the same scratch marks....now check for the ok tested sticker it would not be there and the product is sold at a cheaper price...walk out step into croma at star bazaar koramangal...perform the same drill with the same printer....you will again find the same scratch marks and no ok tested sticker...
My review may sound funny...but these are my observations with a sale products as compared to a genuine non sale mrp product...
Any advises highly appreciated on this whether sale products are all quality rejected stuffs.....which do not pass quality test....
Thanks
