Read at ur own risk. Review on Eye Of The World, The - Robert Jordan

Let me start by saying that this series is hardly original.

after all, readers of sci-fi/fantasy or just anybody who has read the tolkien trilogy and the dune series by herbert will find that most of the ideas are repeated from these two 'worlds'.

let me also say that jordan's writing style leaves a lot to be desired.

however jordan is still the quintessential story teller. every chapter, every page leaves you a with a question - what happens next?

one warning though. the series goes on and on and on. I have finished 10 of the books. all that have come out till now. and the story is far from over.

so there. if u read this book, you will be forced to read a long long series.

now the question is – do I recommend it? The answer strangely is yes. I have spent many a happy hour reading the series. after all, who among us don’t like stories of war and magic.
