It's sad that you are reading this review as it means that you haven't read it yet. But dont miss this book if you can handle pain. I don't advice this book to minds that get easily carried away.
Exodus is a brief insight into the life of a Jew and then tries to capture the hardships of all the Jews over the decades. It kind of makes us feel pity toward them and at one phase in the book, we hate ourselves(Indians) for not supporting the Jews.....so as the book says.
Good points: I liked the book as it can propagate pain. Its hard to shift one's pain to others as most of us are numb to the feelings, particularly dipair of others.
Bad point: It illustrates that Jews have been the target of some unnatural force ....may it be Human or God and that they are God's chosen people to suffer. I see it as a way to support a feeling to feel sorry for them.
Its one thing to read this but another to muster pain to feel for them. Overall it's a GOOD BOOK but its' not recommended if you don't like to loose sleep.
