Evviva Sky Lounge is a rooftop lounge located on the 9th floor of Courtyard by Marriott City Centre, Pune. it really takes
You close to the sky away from the hustle and bustle of the city. the place offers a mesmerizing view of the city. it has a circular bar at one end of the deck with it honeycomb style exteriors and perfect lighting to complement the decor.
The place has high chair seating at the bar counter, relaxed sofa lounge style seating and also high chair seating at the glass wall. the glass wall seating is perfect for a romantic date offering breathtaking views, cool breeze, perfect privacy and the lounge music by their in house DJ adds to your experience. the DJ console is located on an elevated platform.
As for the drinks they have a well stocked bar offering variety of cocktails and drinks to your liking. we ordered a pitcher of Watermelon Agua Fresca Cocktail( sweet and sour with watermelon juice, lime elements and a dash of mint blended with gin) was my favourite.we also ordered Sky Breeze( citrus flavour of orange, lime litchy blended with vodka) they also have a varied wine menu on offer.
The food menu is strongly North Indian. Grilled jumbo prawns with Peri peri seasoning(succulent pieces of jumbo prawns marinated in hot and spicy sauce) served with mash potatoes. Gosht Galouti( lamb mince marinated with khada masala and perfectly cooked with the moisture kept intact) Afgani Nalli Nihari(brought back memories of Mohd. Ali Road shacks, simply amazing lamb stew gravy) Murg Nawabi handi( we normally order Dum biryani but a dum given gravy was something new and impactful in taste, chicken perfectly cooked, flavours extracted in the gravy) Laccha Paratha and Peshawari Naan to complement the gravies. Apple Tart(a preparation of cinnamon ice-cream, forest honey was yumm) and Rasmalai( probably the best I've had, the malai balls soaked well) finished our foodie experience. the staff was well versed with their menu, courteous and added to the luxury dining experience. pricing wise its on the higher side but worth being there. great food, nice music and an absolute delightful view sum it up all.
