Hi,
I got transferred from Kolkata to Chennai on 5th May, 2017 and were looking for a reliable Movers and Packers, hence like you, I searched internet and went with review and then finally decided on Euro Movers and Packers(The biggest mistake of my life). I got quation from Agarwal, Lakshmi and Euro, Euro was cheaper than Agarwal by few thousand bucks but highers than Laxmi. I decided to move ahead with Euro to save few bucks, didnt realized what is waiting for me from them.
2nd May - Mr. Mishra came to my house to have a visual inspection, apparently very nice person with very nice talking giving you all verbal assurance and he represented himself as if they are the best and everything is perfect to win your confidence. I fall for his trap and confirm my order. He asked me to pay 100% in advance before they start their work. I paid them 99% of the amount online and 1% in cash which I said will be handover to driver in chennai at the time of receiving goods.
3rd May- Rajesh came from Euro and provided me the packing materiel to pack my stuff. They were supposed to do it, but to ease their effort I packed almost 6-7 boxes myself
4th May- Approx 6-7 ppl came to my house with Rajesh and started packing stuff, they were in so much hurry as if they are in competition. I objected few times that the packing was not done properly - they said dont worry sir - you will get everything in perfect condition. Another person came, and he took my car as they were supposed to transport my car as well.
within 3 hour they completed a 3BHK packing - and then asked for "BAKSISH" and not ready to take anything less than 2000/- I finally paid them 1500/- as tips
STORY BEGINS FROM HERE - PLEASE READ ON
They were supposed to deliver my stuff in 7 days which is 12th of May-2017. Upon reaching chennai, I gave "Sanjay Sharma" on 10th a call he said everything is okay and it already left for chennai and will be reached on time.
on 15th May no update from them, This time they said the item is in Vijaywada and will reach me in 2-3 days.
I shifted in new completely empty house with two little kids and no stuff, I keep telling them that I need my stuff now for surviving as I didnt carry anything in flight.
on 21st May - They said Item is stuck in Vijaywada - another Person Ajit - who was keep on telling me lies that Item has been detained by some Army officer in Vijaywada
on 25th May - My car came in distressed condition . The driver was new know nothing about route and I need to constanly call him in order to know where he is. He finally demanded 2000/- for delivering my car as baksish - I paid him 500. After he left I inspected my car, and found the entire car was extreamly dirty, and discovered a beer bottle under the passenger seat, a woman earning and string which woman use to tie their garments. It looks like the driver pickup some hooker and had sex in my car and then forgot to remove them from my car.
on 27th May - Sanjay sharma said They sending the stuff from KOLKATA! and I will receive it in 5-6 days . and I realized all these vijaywada thing and timeline was a complete lie. They didnt started from Kolkata even after 21 days. This time they come up with a story that an accident happened in west bengal thats why the delay
after numerouse followup, headache, and suffering they said Item will be delivered on 9th June, which is more than a month. I had to bought basic stuff untensils and household stuff to survive my family in this one month which cost me more than 15000. On 9th a Truck comes but no helpers, Driver said helper I have to arrange of my own. I asked my apartmemt security to get some local guys to help with unloading as Euro didnt provided any helper. They unloaded stuff and I found 9 item out of 50 are missing the primary ones, like bed, utensils, clothes etc.
It took more than one month to deliver, that too 9 primary stuff out of 50 are missing!
I opened my received goods and found following
Fridge was damaged and not working - The internal insulation melted and bended in heat . Had to fix it with mechanic cost me 4500/-
Panasonic Eco Navi Inverted AC is completely broken into pieces. The indoor unit need to be replaced and will cost more than 20K
4-5 wine glass within utensil broken as sufficiant wrapping was not provided by them.
I again started following up with them for my missing parts, They will never tell you truth about your item status, location and expected date of delivery. after numerous followup and phone calls and stress and headache on 23rd June another truck came, again with no helper. and he delivered the missing item, AND THIS TIME TWO ITEM IS MISSING!
I went ballastic this time and talk to Rajesh kolkata, first he was denying that there were any missing item, later he was lying as if he sent all of them, and lastly he said I need to talk to their owner Sanjay Sharma. And he agreed that they LOST my grandfathers barmateak bed and wont be able to deliver or compensate through insurance.
I keep on calling and whatsapp My Sanjay Sharma - He is not picking up my call, he is seeing message in whatsapp but not replying them.
Bottom line.
EURO is a banch of theifs then get your order by quoting low value - but later you end up paying much higher than you have been promised
All of them are liers . They will never tell you truth, about your item condition, location and delivery
They are irresponsible . there are no warranty that you will get back your valuables at all.
DONT BELEIVE their Insurance claim. If you lost an Item they wont let you claim anything - they will cut off all connection from you and you will NEVER get back any Money from them for your damage or lost .
My suggestion - Get someone reputated and trusted apart from EURO. Otherwise you will later regret your decission.
